Refilled the brake fluid today with an eezibleed which always leaves the reservoir too full, fuckwit brainwave when I spot a big bit of fat tubing, I'll suck a bit into that then blow it out, turns out I've a better suck than a £50 whore and I got a gobfull of brake fluid

It tastes horrific, as did the washing up liquid gargle to follow

I think there's a lesson to be learned

Actually things have turned serious , I keep sipping the stuff and now love the taste, I've done two bottles of DOT4 today, my wife think's I'm addicted to it , I'm  not though.................................I can stop anytime   :-D

Don't mix it with DOT5, your liver will curdle.

bought mp3 off amazon

put it into phone

downloaded their app

logged in and - expecting this album only 10 songs

nope

319 tracks

wtf

have been on amazon since 2001 - dont buy this kinda thing off them much - cant remember doing all that :D

They give you MP3s of every song you've ever bought, regardless of format, so if you bought a CD (remember when people did that?) you also get a digital version, so you'll probably find that you've got MP3s of every album/single you've ever bought on there. Not just MP3s

Look at Cavcraft. Whole life and career in suspension since he started on the Hydragas.

Is it registered for the road though, or just some crazy Brit expat using it as a garden ornament (or something)?

Yes it came up on carjam, but you only get the full report for money, so I don't.

I discovered by chance that I have around 100 hours of songs in my Amazon stash - oddly not for every CD purchased from them though.

Alexa still buggers it up though.

Grin of the evening is an owl 'owling in a tree just outside my window.

It is here periodically and has been for a few years ow, perhaps attracted by an owl in an aviary at the back of a house over the road.

I got lumbered with my son's dog over Christmas and when I walked it through the woods late one night it heard the owl and froze, looked bewildered for five minutes until the owl flew overhead and started hooting in a different copse of trees a hundred yards away.  Dog seemed mystified but then walked home calmly instead of dragging me as on every other occasion.

Terminator. Still a damn good film for a bored Sunday and it doesn't look 34 years old.

I don't believe 1985 was that long ago anyway.

A picture of the lunar eclipse, through a cheap 40mm telescope, taken with my phone.

NASA this is not

Two second exposure through my 75-300mm long lens.

Not the best and I had to use my smartphone remote link, otherwise my hand was wobbling the camera too much on the tripod.  The best focus I could get with bare feet, concrete paving slabs and sub-zero temperatures in my pyjamas!

May be escaping the daily grind a few years early owing to finding a little place in France at the right price that makes not working add up. Or at least not working as often add up.

If you could would you?

If the little place wasn't in france it'd be better. If I could learn languages, I keep trying & failing.

There are many, many pros and cons of France - make sure you are fully aware of them! Happy to discuss it over the phone if you wish.

Saabnut - typed in France!

Saw a lovely K reg 440 XI at my local fuel stop today, young-ish owner. I said to him 'blimey, you don't see those old buses around much these days' to which he replied 'what this ? I call it The Beast'. Looked in good nick too, has to be said.

The one person in my office that I don't like is applying for other jobs.

Everyone please wish her luck for the interview she has on Thursday.

Bloody hell, I dream of retiring to France. Go in with your eyes open, as Saabnut says, but if you can deal with the bureaucracy the quality of life is great.

Let's hope the clusterfuck that must not be named is resolved by the time I reach that age so that I might be allowed to.

I lived there for two years when I was younger, I'm well aware of the frustrations and there's a lot about Britain that I'd miss (the live music scene, mostly) but it's a wonderful place to live.

I was an English teacher: you can't live on it, but it would be a nice little bit of pocket money for a retiree, or if you don't have a mortgage to pay.
