Looking at winter approaching...… searching Granvias - as I've always wanted one. Couple look likely. Not quick responses though.  Did the sensible thing - bought a 2seater mid engine future track toy...…. Merry fucking Xmas me! Kollekshuns from your side of the water at the weekend...……

Was it from Dome car sales??  2seaters for the win

Courier turned up when he said he would, did not complain about my track, loaded 5 wheels and a Vauxhall engine in and still smiling. Reckoned wheels would be at destination (Preston) later today and engine in Bristol Wednesday. This guy mostly transports antiques, so is very careful, and will happily take fragile stuff like body panels or glass. Based in NE Scotland but covers the country, happy to pass on details.

So rare to be grinning about a courier!

Cool! Got a works 'secret Santa' today and received a car cleaning kit! Should have waited a week to use it as I chucked a bucket of water over the Frontera yesterday.

The Honda Accord was clearly in a good mood this morning. No clunks whatever from the suspension and the clicking/creaking clutch pedal was as silent as a fish on the way to work.

I washed the car yesterday, so maybe that helped.

I get up late on Tuesday ......  so no ice to scrape off the car .....  idle in on the mid day roads to work

A very nice person on twitter @ScrapyardTales sent it after they seen a Frontera about to die. Very happy and it's only a rubber mat :-)

Especially as I saw not that long ago a tin-top with a buggered 1.6 auto for a mere 400 yoyos locally. Fortunately the driveway is full already.

Passed Squire Dawson in the street today, he was on a very shiny bicycle very much of the period you'd expect of him, and the same colour as the Snipe

Servicing a bbu yesterday and the tennant traded in and built retro electronics. Does a lot for musicians. He reckoned one of the items there cost as much as a house back in the 80's. Canny fellow with dreads and a unique dress sense.c305f8150b2ad70b239ba7d03041086c.jpgde25e793256e239e2cc7bd49b3511db0.jpg9442eccf4c10850ca54d425ac621752b.jpgb67ec10f515bfd174227df06fd8421d7.jpg36ad3af1ff8c3acb45fa66ced1dff96a.jpg

As I walked past the local art gallery, I saw a google car and created situationist art.

See if you can tell which one is me.

Day on my own. So fire, food, TV.

Possibly beer shortly.

And yes, we have rising damp in the fireplace. Which buggers any coating I put on the bricks to hide, but fuck it.

I'm not pulling bricks and tiles out to put a membrane in.c946df1c86e7600dbd4fcc8630ce1e6c.jpg

He's good at making me smile.

What a handsome happy looking chap. I miss having an hound about the place. Sadly don't have the time to commit to one. Wonder if the wife can claim maternity leave if I buy a puppy.......

The short furry one?

Clever of your owner to match her hair to her top, must take ages if she changes her clothes before going out though.

You really can't beat Costco customer service , I bought a TV from them July 2016 , it's still useable but has developed a fault, vertical banding but only in certain lighting , most of the time it's OK , I rang them, they asked to see some pictures which i sent, 3 days later, they decided it was beyond economical repair so take it back for a full refund, buy something else and your 5 year guarantee starts again.

If only it was like when your car gets written off and they sell it back to you for 10%

He is gorgeous, have you got over to the dog thread in the open forum?

Not yet anyway.  I have to admit to frequently forgetting that the other sections even exist...
