The grin, it's only paint. The sills are covered in a black mastic paint and after 25 years it is losing it's grip on the white. I might just get a can of black paint and put a tide-line there . That way as the paint flakes off it will not make it look worse. The black Mastic goes up to the crease line in the door.

 

Edit:

While I am here take a look at the replacement rear suspension to be fitted after new year. The old one is leaking oil.

Servicing a bbu yesterday and the tennant traded in and built retro electronics. Does a lot for musicians. He reckoned one of the items there cost as much as a house back in the 80's. Canny fellow with dreads and a unique dress sense.

Todays grin after tne 940 failed its mot on abs light not working I found bulb had been removed and feared much doom. Ive never worked on abs systems so after watching a couple of youtube vids I got stuck in and found a faulty sensor which cleared the fault when replaced.

I just cant believe someone would pull the bulb for such a simple fault, anyway big grin as it only cost £20 for the sensor and I welded a quick patch underneath so cheap fix and another years motoring.
