Another of the reasons I deleted my account.

A friend was telling me that a (large n beefy) woman we both know has been bleating on Facebook just how she has spent. Quote. "Hundreds of £££'s on diets that don't work"

FFS. Just spend less on food!

Are people really so daft? (Of course they are... Just made me chuckle)

I can do a full week of weightwatchers in just two days and still not lose a pound, its a flippin swizz!

"Her name was Lexus, she was a showgirl..."

Funny how mundane everyone else's engines sound when you have a v8 (yes, even a Japanese one, rather than a carb fed yank)

Aye but the doors are metal and don't look faded, hence the t-cut comment.

A local used car dealer that I pass on the way to work seems to be developing an unhealthy fascination with Alfa GTVs

Where is the dealer? The green Spider P698EAS was mine for a while a couple of years ago, I sold it to someone from Carlisle way.

Get home, and that fucker Yaris man is parked opposite my house again. And oh look, M3 idiot is getting home too.

I put the Rover exactly where it always goes and walk inside without so much as looking at M3 man.

Shortly after Yaris man comes out and moves his car.

Nice one, they shouldn't have done that.

I win!

Might have had a respray on the doors?

There's a Corsa round here that's got pristine red front wings and bonnet, and the rest is pink. Been like that for years, must have had a repair when it wasn't very old and they used different/better paint than the factory.

My old boss came to visit today in his v8 mustang that he's had a pretty much straight through exhaust fitted to. Probably illegal but sounds great.

His neighbours must hate him.

I've just checked into the b&b, parking a v8 with 'fruity' exhaust against a wall, directly in front of 4 rooms. Luckily I'm usually one of the last to depart in the morning- only occurred to me in the carpark:(

You could feel it in the building and we're one floor up. He check the db and it was 103 in the car on the motorway so he'll be deaf by next week.

My Cadillac has a very disappointing noise until you rev the tits off it.

Insurance renewal on the Puma. Down from £450 to £330. An extra year on the no claims and less people being idiots at our local accident blackspot has made a difference.

Even though the starlet policy has paid out, the insurance company are keepign the policy going meaning the new wee beasty can be put on that policy!

I thought that once paid out the policy ended.

Is that the one across from Wickes or something, near a Tesco? Not down that way much but he seems to always have something interesting to look at.

Is Labinjoh not an Alfa specialist hence all the GTVs? I think he used to run the Edinburgh Alfa main dealer in the 70s/80s.

That's the one, just over from wickes. He appears to use the sainsburys carpark to take his for sale pics :)

Thought I recognised it. Round the corner from Missus Moogs flat in Dalry

If it's paid out for a write off then that's usually the end of the policy. Unusual for an insurance company to be more generous that they have to be!

Camry collected, great to drive it again with everything sorted and a new MoT (on private roads until it's insured and taxed of course). With the new clutch, brakes etc it has a really tight feel to it, but overall it still has the same smooth, almost languid quality to it that I like so much.

Had to buy a printer tonight to sort out some paperwork for my new job - all in one printer scanner copier with cartridges (albeit starter ones) and wifi direct printing for £31 - wow!

It's lightning fast for an inkjet too

Sounds good value tbh, as much as I don't like saying it you could throw it away/freecycle it when it's done

Or buy eBay inks for it and carry on

An acquaintance of mine has lost his license for being a silly boy. He is now selling his DRFTWPN Lexus IS200 as he now cannot do the driving thereof.

"3500 or near offer, no "insultingly unfunny amount of money and generic chocolate bar" shit.

First response thereafter?

"How about five quid and a double decker? that'll be yer only mode of transport now ya twat."
