You know that for every 'like' you get a cute puppy gets a mild tummy ache, right?

I hope you're proud of yourself.

Just coming home and took a detour down a narrow street with parking either side. Captain Knobspots in front of me sees a car in the distance coming the other way, then barrels it down the road past all the pull in spots.

The car coming the other way was forced to pull in to an entrance and had a couple of other behind him, guess where Captain Knobspots wanted to turn into? Yep, the bit the other bloke is now blocking off and he can't go anywhere as there's cars behind him.

I pulled in further behind and just laughed as old narky bollocks was forced to reverse.

That sounds like a small village near me called Praze-an-Beeble . There is a certain Etiquette involved to get through quickly and without being a dick . Most of the locals have it and you can spit a tourist / dick a mile off .

Especially fun on bin/ recycling day

That sounds exactly like my street - it's a half mile long dead straight cul-de-sac of a back lane between terraces and everyone has to park on the road because no driveways. AND it's a bus route - the bus turns at the top then comes back down. Everyone who lives here knows the routine for avoiding each other and the bus but visitors often get it badly wrong and jam the whole thing up. On bin day you either stay home until they are gone or try to be away before they arrive.

Just spoke to an old mate for the first time in 35 odd years on the phone I used to knock around with in my teenage years, it was like we only spoke yesterday..... seeing him on Saturday along with another lad who made up the "3 amigos" :-P at a youth club reunion MrsD has organised. We all were and still are into our cars so looking forward to a very good evening.....

Watch "The World's End" before you go.

A burd at work was wearing a too-short skirt today and every time she crossed her (well formed) legs...woof!

Are you uploading the pics here, or will they be on another site?

In the early/mid 1990s I saw a woman with some of her breasts exposed and I quite enjoyed it so I searched for womens breasts on the internet and found there were absolutely loads of pictures of womens breasts where the women seemed quite happy to expose them to cameras. Anyway I'm sure you could do the same for legs, fannies and probably bumholes

 Captain Knobspots

I think I saw Captain Knobspots tonight in New Ferry. Was coming down past Rock Ferry station, and he was parked on the wrong side of the road with full beams on. I take a wide berth around his parked car, and no indication, just pulls out towards me and nearly whacks me, I missed him by inches. It was 10 year old Audi A4. What a complete cunt, I hope an frozen piss icicle detaches from a passing plane overhead and impales him right through his skull - I mean ??WHY WHY WHY??

Had to take a load of stuff back to wickes, ended up with 390KG of cement and kitchen units in the back of our lasses car. The Skypeomatic gearbox was well confused and wanted to hang on to every gear while 9000RPM but other than that it drove better than ever.

Also it seems if you order stuff in bundle offers from Wickes website then take them back to store, they just give you full price back even when it's double what you paid. I pointed it out but "thats just how it works"

The slight, erm, fire I had earlier on the Fusion which looked so much like the end of the known universe turned out to be caused by the shitty Halfords charger socket fitted in the glovebox. It had rusted to fuck and the live contact had dropped out causing a mahoosive short.

Not sure why it took the fuse so long to blow, but I am delighted to report that the damage was limited to this POS & its associated wiring, and the scooter is now back in service :-D

We don't get pikeys in posh countryville, if they did my elderly posh middle class retired neighbours would shake their fist at them.

Posted

Instead of Pikeys, they get Travelling Folk,  Nomadic Lifestylers or just plain Gypsies (tramps and thieves) **

**yes, that last one does need to be sung every time it's used.

Bought a cordless drill thing with a load of bits and driver heads and stuff from eBay yesterday afternoon and it arrived this morning! Impressive service and I have said so.

The P reg (Fiesta headlight) Robin hooning west from Chichester yesterday being driven by a lad, early 20s and who looked well into his punk/metal music :-). Not sure if there was any mods, but I was very surprised it was keeping a steady* 70*.

Grin today was finding out that a colleague used to run around in the prototype K-series engined Polonez as a personal hack when he worked at Longbridge.

Pillock from here, not only doing me a mega good deal with a camera, but also for having to endure countless stupid questions. Cheers, Chris, you're a gent.

If you can't laugh at yourself, there's no hope.

From the first page of my own thread where I was wondering what car to buy for retirement. Well that went well didn't it.

I have already worked out that in retirement I will have to be careful money-wise and will probably go down to one vehicle

I had the same lad tailgating me in the SL at a steady 70* a couple of weeks ago...I had to boot it up to a very daring 75* before I was able to see his headlights in my mirror. I'm guessing it's a little way from standard.
