My car dreams are coming together.

Plus my new impact wrench has turned up. I love presents that I want. Can't wait to get on changing wishbones on v40(famous last words)

Thinking about it tonight, I have had three close calls on the disaster (slight exaggeration there!) front with big green dollop today: first was tuning into a car store this morning, slope/ramp from the road but when I went up it at about 15mph it felt like it'd taken the front suspension out that slope was so severe. I did look underneath but it was all fine...

Secondly, pulling into pets at home I managed to drop my fag which instead of taking the easy route out of the open window, fell between the seat and door. Fairly frantic emergency stop to rescue  said lit item and rub the carpet copiuosly to make sure all was well.

Thirdly, the slight incident with the parking!

So, three events that 'could' have been nasty, and each resulted in .... nothing much. I am a lucky chappie! :)

Just been idly browsing ebay, looking at pianos, glad to see Raymanboy has not lost his way with words

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/White-3-9-Grand-Piano-new-concert-pianist-performs-/322021316219?hash=item4af9f7567b:g:3lcAAOSwll1W0jBN

His condition hasn't lessened any. I've just read that gibberish and the only sentence that comes close to making sense is a mention that the piano is sorned. Just superb.

And now I'm going to be looking at his other listings into the early hours, I've spotted a claim that Les Dawson won the Grand Prix thus far, and now I'm up to "more CORRRUPTION THAN A MONKEY WITH A BAG OF SMARTIES"

This guy is on some fucking good shit.

A Tivoli has just arrived at work, the chap who sells them described it as Bloody horrible, I can see them hitting the AS calendar before 2030.

I had to pop out to mrs fp's grandads earlier to look at his Citroën Pickering as the wipers had stopped working, luckily it was the fuse, on the way back saw a lovely zx parked up with bonus shite number plate so not one to miss a photo opportunity

The reviews for them are okay, not quite as polished as a Qashqai or something, but much cheaper. Crossovers or whatever they're called aren't to my taste but the Tivoli looks alright.

What the actual holy fuck is he rambling on about? Trying to sell a piano with a rant about ISIS, bankers and war - the mind boggles...

Are you not familiar with Raymanboy? He's legendary on car and piano forums. A few years ago he kept trying to sell a Chrysler LeBaron and a lashed up Triumph Herald/Vitesse in listings like that.

Jesus, I'm familiar with Raymanboy but that makes even less sense than usual. It's just a collection of words, possibly that have been passed back and forth through Babelfish a few times. Imagine meeting him...

The sotry of yor stule "We only sit on it" - is like the Houses Of Parliament?

Um... possibly. Who the fuck knows?

Simple things. I just stoked up my Rover 45V6 and took it for a cheeky blezz up the lane. It's the tits!!!!! I am a lucky man to have such a varied fleet of shonkers. Its all i really want out of life TBH.

Posted

I know what you mean B0ll, I'm enjoying a mixed fleet at present.

Today I've been using the big silly Volvo and fuelled up ... not as bad as I was expecting. On a run with mostly sensible driving I got 28mpg. Short journeys, most under 10 miles, stop start and with quite a bit of hoonage - 20mpg. I can live with that.

Tomorrow it's the Aerodeck or Sera for the work commute, both brighten up shitty days.

Yeah, if only we didnt have to do all that tedious shite like working and paying bills and stuff, life would be great.

I have never had big aspirations, I dont want to cure cancer and save humanity, I dont want to be a pop star, I dont even want to be rich as such, I just want enough money in the bank to buy the odd new shitewagon and spend my time in the garage fettling and fiddling with bits and bobs.

On a similar note.....

Double chocolate chip cookies and a glass of chocolate milk. Its ace having the mental outlook of a seven year old and the adult capability of buying whatever the hell I like in the supermarket.

Finally sold my Peugeot 1007 that was one fucking nightmare to sell. A nice enough car but no one wanted it. Just the Vespino to shift now before buying more tat.

I am getting an urge for a Peugeot 104 at the moment but really shouldn't buy anything else just yet.

How did you sell a 1007?

Thats more than most Peugeot dealers could manage!

Well done.
