Prestige. They weren't the cheapest. I was going to go with Churchill but the bint on the phone hung up on me when she couldn't find my online quote. I used the google price comparison site to input all my details then phoned up company of choice to make minor changes - I don't need a courtesy car having four of my own but did want European cover and legal. Couldn't opt out of courtesy car, I expect they look upon it as a way of earning extra dosh.

The sky is only clear here during the night if ever. What good is that now we've all got gps and don't need to look at stars.

Chaos on the roads. Big green bogey with a dodgy back tyre going round roundabouts while the driver is in a mood....

Well, it made me grin!

Fixed the headlight - two bulbs out and intermittent fault on the indicator*.

Pretty poor in autoshite terms but it is rare there is a problem, despite it's heritage.

It is a bumper off job though - so fixed the shonky bumper with self-tappers while on with it.

Losing boost though so probably a new MAF needed.

*Filled the washer bottle too :)

Lolled at the card because at first glance I thought it was addressed to "Dickhead".

Sorry!

I've just heard the sad news about Jimmy Hill on the telly.

It's a grin because they showed a brief clip of him getting out of a Tagora.

I had one of the strangest dreams last night, that I've had in a long time. I'd managed to score a Merc G-Wagon for about £200, then got given a rare ltd-edition P38 for scrap money - it drove perfectly, except for the suspension randomly going up and down without warning and for no reason. I was actually planning an epic post on A$ to show them off, but the P38 got stolen from outside my parents' house the following night. I was kinda gutted, despite trying to convince myself that I'd dodged a bullet with it. To cheer myself up, I arranged to borrow a '32 Ford from a friend for a few weeks, and drove the Dolly down to a Butlins camp where it was being stored, only to find that it was really a half-scale replica of a customised Morris 8, with an electric motor and a stupid trailer for carrying children in, and would only do about 25mph. To cap it all off, some weird guy spent ages staring into the Dolomite's interior and chuckling quietly while shaking his head, but wouldn't tell me why. I didn't wake up in the best of moods after that.

As Richard Dawkins said earlier, Facebook is a daily reminder that 50% of people are below average intelligence.

Just had a laughing fit, I was reading http://autoshite.com/topic/22793-pro-respray-garage-rates/?p=891075

And sniggered at the "helicoptered knob" my wife asked what I was laughing at, I explained I was laughing about a thread about a car being keyed, she replied having a car keyed isn't funny to which I agreed and it then took 5 minutes of laughing to try and tell her.

She was laughing at me laughing and putting me off, I covered her head with a cushion because her laughing was preventing me from relaying the helicoptered knob.

When I mentioned the helicoptered knob she replied "that's the sort of thing you'd do, you'll be doing it in co op tomorrow"

yesss Tagora! He is a man of taste!

By the way, only one short video when connecting with a german IP, two videos with a UK IP.

I will have to sue the BBC for not showing the video to everybody equally, we will throw you out of the EU for that!

Received a present in the form of a Citroen book, currently lining up my list of cars to buy. I think first is to find a gti visa, or better yet, an awd visa.
