By way of a thank you for all the likes and an apology for the blatant showing off, have a Moroccan CPTC...

Is she called Arthur?

We decided not to go - I checked the ticket prices and it was going to cost about £50 just to get in so we went plant shopping and paid the rent on the allotment instead. Sun is out today so back to it!

Cathy. Not much difference to Martha. If you had the typical 2.2 kids, and you indulged them I could see an easy spend of a couple of hundred quid.

I've also got thundering wild shits today which could be their fault or burger king at the services.

Went to Beamish with my beloved Kinky girl. Very nice watching stuff drive endlessly round, but the bloody place was heaving. They're also rather good at gouging the fuck out of you for anything. V expensive day of queueing.

Yes, this sounds grumpy, but there was a fun highlight. Ticket desk girl wants names for passes. Kinky girl's has somehow come out with Martha on it. Slightly* wrong.

It's only just up the road from me, about 8 miles.

We used to go frequently years ago (1980s) but it has become increasingly expensive.  Haven't bee in donkeys now though, may have to give it a shot.

The granny of my youngest grandson works there and he and my daughter are often there - she drives down here and they cycle there along the old railway track, she has a season ticket which is reasonably economical for them.

Just used the orange Vax on Mrs PBK's loved but unwashed, un-vacuumed bubble shaped Micra. 4 litres of cleaning produced a nice clean drivers footwell carpet and drivers seat. Left over cleaning liquids were utilised on the passenger footwell carpet of the Mitsu.

Ace results all round but my back is fucked and is sending small but frequent lightening bolts of pain down my right leg. Ouch.

Swings and roundabouts eh.

the joys of a trapped nerve and referred pain. Hot bath and naproxen works wonders for me usually.

Things you don't expect to see washed up on a small island...

Someone must have majorly spied their arse to have lobbed that off a ship in the Mersey.

+1 I'd love to know what the story behind that was.

EDIT: I love the fact that it's complete with wheeltrim

I found a Stomil tyre on a Fiat Uno wheel fly-tipped in a layby a couple of months ago.

Although that's probably easier to explain away?

Had an amazing ride on the dirt bike today . Somerset Trf did an exmoor forest day . The new bike is sooo easy to ride compared to the old 300 . It's nice to finish a day out still wanting more and not being knackered .

Less is more !

An old neighbour popped round last night to see whether we wanted a couple of tons of free firewood. That's worth a grin in itself, but this is what he dropped it off with this morning!

Those wheels are history as soon as I can get up to the abode of E. Cabbage Esq and score a set of 205 pepperpots.

Just spent the whole evening on YouTube watching clips of BTCC races from the mid 90's.

Was a superb morning for chod spotting this morning!

A G reg silver sierra hatch, looked very VERY clean, but looked very original

Some old dear driving an R reg green Xantia

A D reg escort 3 door that I've seen before but it was parked further up the road this morning, so I drove past it

It really has been a great chod spotting day.  Spied a pistachio Minor, a turqoise Rover 100 and sat behind this on my way to get oil for the Renault.

Following on from the other day.

I went and picked up my special ordered exhaust. Can't argue at £28, took it straight in to the garage and had it done in about 15 mins.

I touched the old one when it was off and it just fell apart to this
