Some right miserable back to front on a seperate part of the plant had a right moan at me a few weeks back for not wearing my safety specs.

I've just seen him carrying empty bottles of poisons with no gloves on. He didn't appreciate being told.

It was for the duster, by the lack of lustre, the feel of the paint and the fact that water didn't bead I think the poor thing hadn't had polish anywhere near it since it was new over a year ago. Mrs fp's dad has only had it about 2 months now but loves it's simplicity for a modern

Here it is after i have been busy, I stupidly didn't take a pre polish picture

I reckon these are solid gold future shite

Totally agree about them being future shite. To be fair, they're not even a bad looking car by modern standards and seem good value for money.

I've driven 400 miles to Devon and back and generally, the roads were delightful! So nice to have a journey that (aside from too many bloody traffic lights in Gloucester and general snarl ups in Hereford) saw me barely drop below 40mph. To make things even better, I left the rain behind in Devon and from Hereford onwards, there was gorgeous winter sunshine, pretty clear roads, good overtaking spots when there were slower folk and Enya on the cassette player. BLISS.

Skizzer's back.  This is pleasing.

Why thank you, that's kind :-) .  I popped in to swap messages with a couple of folks, and noticed the Shitefest choo-choo thread, and then a few other things, and so on.  Nice to catch up with folk and good stuff I've missed, plus things seem a bit more back to normal now (or maybe I am - who knows).

With new shite,unless it's one I missed.

Nothing very new - you might have missed the Jeep Wrangler, which I didn't make much of as I'm not sure it's really AS material.  A mate/colleague is running around in it, in return for various services (fnarr fnarr).  It's a much nicer thing than I expected.  Here's a photo:

Whilst investigating the non-working electric seats in the PPE i found a blown blade fuse...then realised I needed to know the size as there are 4 different types, yes really,, so pulled the fuse out to measure it and dropped it down the side of the drivers seat. Tried to fish it out with a couple of screwdrivers but it just buried itself further down. In desperation I took the seat side off and retrieved the fuse along with some of those little bits of glass you get when a windscreen explodes which were in the seat mechanism. hopefully this is what blew the fuse. Never really appreciated the benefits of being a clumsy git before....

I haven't heard enya for years. I had a cassette somewhere but that was 25years ago.

Wife's Multipla went straight through the MOT! Well, it needed a bulb and the front ARB moving back as it was fouling the subframe obv, but STRAIGHT THROUGH! the only advisory was for a corroded rear spring.

Filled out a job application a few weeks ago and hadn't heard anything (it's a job I really want) got a text and an email tonight asking me to an interview on the 22nd :-)

My 250 quid puma is making me grin . After a shitty week at work it's great fun on the small Cornish roads . Added bonus is that the wife likes it too .

The Jag I bought for £200 needed a grand total of £40 and an hours fettling to get it through it's MOT. Bargain £20 MOT, £34 for 4 nearly new Dunlop Super Sports delivered and £50 at the same garage to swap the tyres, balance and the tracking done.

Can't drive it until the 22nd but I've a couple of jobs to sort on it first, leaky rocker cover, broken exhaust hanger, I'll polish and refurb the headlights as well while I'm at it and I'll give the inside a damn good clean.

Welcome Skizzer! Good to see you back!

Must say there have been some excellent threads recently; the black weekend, the car park laguna etc etc

I currently have 9 litres, 18 cylinders and 529bhp of road legal motor vehicle(s) This, and the fact I'm drunk, makes me happy

Got the 'a to b - tales of modern motoring' book today to accompany the DVDs I have on it. Should make good bedtime reading.

Listen to Smooth Radio then. " Orinoco Flow" is number 7 in their box of 20 singles they play endlessly. It'll be along soon.

It is my ambition to use the term Hoofwanking Bunglecunt in conversation this week at least once.

went to York today on the train so that we could have a few slurp in one or tow of the pubs in town,

that isn't the reason for the [post./

when going for the train home this evening this was sat in the next platform waiting for the signal to head for home at tyelsey and yes, it was a heavy pullman train made up from mark 1 and mark 2 coaches which the locomotive was able to lift like it was a bag of feathers.

Am I alone in thinking the Daa-Chaa is cutting a 'stand alone' groove in the countrys auto-sensitivity... to the extent that an aftermarket demand will well up to continue 2nd owner value.

Proton fall with nosebleed inducing residuals (to exemplify NOT Daa-Chaa)?
