woohoo i have done the last patch of welding that i could find on my mk1 sierra  now to order a few parts, fit them, drill a hole or 2 then send it to the bodyshop, i will get this on road for the 1st time in 10 years

Yes, fine. It turned out to be coming from the overflow pipe, on account of the hoooning it got on the M25 trying to catch up with a convoy of 924s. Which I lost because my rear hatch kept popping open unannounced. Because I replaced the seal with a non standard, but much cheaper one. Because the car leaked.

Reading the caption it was at Burslem depot, shortly after Stoniers was taken over by PMT.

Stoniers and Berresfords. Now there was a shite bus operator for you. Never really threw any of the old buses or coaches away, just parked them up un the yard after they finished with them. Many gems were to be found in there and a few even made it back out to be resored too including this:

Have to transport flat packed garden table and chairs 150 miles up to our static caravan in Scotland tomorrow.

Went to pick it all up in the Honda estate and the boxes were slightly too wide to go in the back. Returned after measuring the back of the 944.

Hey! That looks like the office at the Probation Service in Brum I worked before moving out to France. Now my desk, and computer, and systems are all seriously shit. The desk looks like some 1960s skip-found reject. The computer systems database is run off a very slow version of Windows 2000 which rejects most of todays websites. The system itself is jump started from XP and the office is generally untidy and very dusty
