Gave the car a wash for the first time in over a year! Was a brief wash but a good one none the less, can walk past it now without getting filthy black with m40 shite!

Did mums car too, it was muddy as fuck since they only go down little local lanes. Covered in missing paint and stone chips though. Both need a good clay and Polish but meh, fuck that!

Also used some Hyundai wash and wax my grandad gave me from their i20 and it's OK at washing but I saw zero waxing. Must stock up on supplies before spring and get the nice shampoo I like (chemical guys citrus wash and gloss)

I keep getting fb ads for them and tbh am quite tempted! Their big 5l bottles seem quite good value and I need apc and snowfoam before I can do any more of Chris's cars (and a new pressure washer I think, or some tools as I think it's those causing it to not fire more times than fire. Ever tried rinsing 2 cars at once one infront of the other whilst not releasing the trigger and moving around as you go? 😂

I got the brush and some tyre gel at half price last week. Well boxed and they used a proper delivery ( dpd local I think ).
I am getting multiple emails a day from them though so may unsubscribe.

the other place I would recommend is autorocket on eBay.

Unlike yesterdays ad for a magical scratch spray, which on delving ( it sounded too good to be true) turned out to be a subscription for £38 a month!

Just discovered a rather nifty feature on the stereo in the Getz.  If I have it in sat nav mode and drive through an average speed camera zone, next to the little GPS speed readout is another readout showing my average speed since I entered the zone.  Quite impressive for a 40 quid eBay special I thought...

So unexpectedly i find my self with one of these

And wondered why there was no stirring implements - resigning myself to the fact id have to limp to the kitchen to get one

Realising i had a singapore airlines spoon in my bag :D

but then noticed the other end of the table

where there was cutlery and towels here

And again watching the pictures and drinking tea

4 hours back to Christchurch and coupla days in the nice b and b at the start of the holiday and find a library to write the nicest set of reviews i might ever write ( no way id do them on here cos id be cross eyed by the end :D

Many years ago in a previous job I used to do work in a country park. We had problems with the farmer driving cows down a track as they tended to veer off onto a boardwalk path for the public. I was getting costs to put "kissing gates" on the junctions. The landscape architect thought it would be cheaper to put signs until I pointed out that the cows couldn't read.

This is the same person who thought that the water in a fountain was on a slope. (The bricks were not level(
