No and calling them bullet trains is oh so wrong. It is like calling all buses with a platform a Routemaster. The express train services in Spain are called AVE (it is on the side it is on the website) AVE is Alta Velocidad Española. In Spanish Ave is a bird. It is a play on words.

The train in the image is a S102 and built by Talgo or Bombardier. I give you the link from the WIKI in Spanish because it is more informative than the English one. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serie_102_de_Renfe

The annual international 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign in Perth and Kinross kicks off later this month on Friday 24 November. 🧡

Yeah, she's on my case these days. I've even had to stop sniffing socks and just get fresh pairs from the cupboard.

Side by side in the MoT bay today one electric Volkswagen Golf and one six litre V12 Aston Martin. The Aston has done three times the mileage of the Golf.

@Mi30n was telling me his audi e-tron was in for a service today, i idly wondered what exactly would be getting done ?

no oil or filter to change, no air filter, no plugs, no fuel filter, coolant ? probably not, what exactly would he be getting for the omg£££ audi would be charging?

turns out they change the pollen filter and brake fluid ! that’s it !

still, at least they washed it for him :)

First service on a Duster is just a pollen filter.  £95 RRP.

I drove past a Talbot motorhome this morning.

It had big stickers on the back saying 'Kevin and Mandy. Livin' the dream!'

It was parked in the street with the front up on axle stands.

Nearly 3 years ago I bought a sim card for the 4g router in my camper van. It was one of them "preloaded" ones with 100gb or something, but to put me on. It supposedly ran out after 6 months.

I hadn't given it a thought since, until today when I realised it's still going strong! I must have used many terabytes by now, It was our only source of internet at home for 8 weeks. I wonder how much longer I'll get away with it?

@outlaw118 and I have a busy weekend of buying 2 cars, I'm very fucking excited for a few reasons:

1. First car I have bought for myself in about 3 years, the ones I used in Lanzarote weren't mine even though I did the "el haggling", the RS2000 was bought for me and I couldn't get insured on the fucker so I never* drove it.

2. Saturday marks 2 months exactly since we moved back to the UK, so that's nice I think.

3. 2 Roadtrips in the megamoose.

4. I will be breaking an Autoshite golden rule but it will be so worth it.

5. Full service history on a V reg, fuck me.

*illegally, shhhhhhh

Cheshire police stopped a zafira on the M62 at Warrington as it appeared "overloaded".

There were fifteen people onboard. All  unrestrained.

It must have looked like a hydrofoil.

Did they stop it because it was doing 15mph on a motorway?
