What makes you grin? Antidote to grumpy thread

Went up to outlaw_Junior's caravan earlier without SWMBO, dropped some stuff off, found a "green lane" got Megamoose a bit grubby then blezzed home the scenic way, with this on very loud.

Appalling behaviour.

I wasn't expecting half an hour to make such a difference.

Shedload still to be done - once the inlet manifolds are off and the cam cover gaskets are changed anyway...but at least I can top up the screenwash without looking like I'd been crawling around under a bus for an hour.

That she started after the engine was pressure washed was a good grin too.

Autoglym engine & machine cleaner, waiting ten minutes then careful use of the pressure washer.

Well that all checks out.  Congratulations Bob.

Edit: Wait, no, it's a scam - they've spelled "cheque" correctly.

Crikey that looks good! I cleaned the xsara's engine bay a while back. Partly because it looks sick, partly so I didn't get grimy hands topping up the screen wash or checking something and poking about! Worth it just for that

Having been looking stuff up on streetview (for work) I ended up finding myself in 2015, I had a brake light out (well it was a Land Rover)

I reckon @LightBulbFun has an alert which triggers when ever anyone writes the word light or bulb in a post

That's definitely worth smiling about. My Acclaim never did and is probably now a fridge.

Always smile when I walk past this sign. I'll be like a Cheshire cat if there's ever a bike like this parked there.

that makes me wonder what bike is the sign based off of?

I know the Car one is based off the ADO16 :) (as it was one of the most common cars at the time when the signs used today where first drawn up etc)

First driving lesson completed- only took 3 months but the bucket list of things to complete has reduced to parking, mirrors and negotiating a dual carriageway... Much progress!

I'm sure I read one of the road bumps to returning Concorde to flight was Airbus or rr/snecma or both refusing to provide support

concorde is done, it'd probably be cheaper to design a new one than get one back in the air now

If it needs digging over just get the neighbours to tell the police they saw you bury something there one night.

The main reason they grounded Concorde was to stop Phil Collins travelling to perform at charity concerts.

Concorde was the future, but apart from flagship status it's a bit pointless these days.
