There used to be an Indian family living behind us, the smell coming from her kitchen at teatime was amazing

Just watched a French movie on Netflix, 'Lost Bullit'

Lots of chases etc, much euroshite getting rather broken.

Sadly the star car, a left field choice, doesn't really survive.. ?

The old boy a few units up from mine is moving into a smaller unit and "disposing" of a load of tools and I seem to be his first port of call.

This morning he's donated an 18" set of stilstons, a pipe bender and a large biscuit tin full of proper good quality crimp terminals (Early 1990s "Ampliversal" brand) and a really nice crimp tool. Bloody lovely stuff

Unfortunately I dont have this one which just sold for £2,332.14 , it might have made more if he still had a hard on .

Camped in a remote corner of the parents' farm for summer solstice (social distancing yo).

This was taken with my phone at 10:40pm last night.

I have more photos, taken with my proper camera. However my no-name SD card reader finally shat itself, so it met its end with a hammer, and I now have a proper Anker SD card reader on order.

You jammy bastard. I'm going absolutely mental not being able to get out and go camping!

Yeah, I'm still not sure how legal it was or wasn't.

I wasn't at a public campsite or anything, though. I was also checking in on my vulnerable elderly parents etc. etc. etc. Totally not borrowing their tractor to take my camping equipment to the other end of the farm, then get drunk and watch the sun start to rise again at 1:30am. Nope, definitely didn't do that.

Just seen the Trailer for it. A french fast and furious type of affair by the look of it?

It's still not legal to spend the night away from your primary residence, but I don't think it really matters, you're not harming anyone and the law is pretty much unenforceable now.

I've camped in the carpark outside work and in my mates field, but neither are any kind of substitute for being in the proper countryside.

I must be getting near to the 3000 mile limit on my classic insurance policy. I rang footman James to up the mileage expecting to be shafted. £60 to get it to 7000 miles. I vowed I wouldn't pay more than £100 so that's a proper result.

35 minutes on hold though.

Have reached an agreement with my other half for us to save for a camper van.  She showed me a picture of 'the sort of thing I mean'.  A K-reg Talbot 2.5D.  Might take us a while to get there - but I've wanted one for years and now I might be able to get one if we're careful with our Pennies...

Today has been a good day.

After cleaning the dash in the civic, out pops "Just Great songs 2014".

I haven't used the CD player since buying it from @jamiechod.

It helped pass the time in the queue for the recycling centre.

He wants the biscuit tin back though, tight bastard

Just make sure you put some biscuits in it for him, to show that you're not.

You've just reminded me of when I last took some rubbish to the tip, and included among it were a pile of old, chipped plates.  I asked the guy there "Do these go in the rubble skip?" and when he confirmed I said "Right, I'm going to enjoy this" and proceeded to play Frisbee with all the plates watching them very satisfyingly smash to bits in the skip.  I think the staff enjoyed watching too!

Nope. DJ agila played a top quality impromptu hour long set courtesy of the premium audio in the ex spec civic to the enthralled crowd.

Favourites were Rita Oral who went down well and Miley Cyrus.

Not forgetting x factor legends Sam Bailey and Rebecca Ferguson.

More stuff from the neighbour. The orangey stuff is potatoes. The other two are made with rice flour?

I've done that too and it was the most fun I've had in ages. I gave some side plates that were also ancient and chipped for my daughter (10) and told her to go mad, she couldn't believe it. I frisbee'd the first dinner plate and it smashed into a million pieces and she started throwing them like a ninja with shurikens. Was a brilliant afternoon out!

I've done the same but with rocks and toilets that are in there not smashed/intact glass doors...

Dropped our old 60l cracked fishtank in from a height too, that was amazing!

That's not bad. I need to ship a car at some point. It's small (Healey Sprite) but isn't roadworthy but does run and stop and steer.

I presume non-runners get charged a pain-in-the-ass fee?

Sorry for the huge delay in replying. On a bit of a road trip for work. 14 1/2 hrs driving on Sunday. Got the return on Thursday. Minnesota to Colorado and back!

I contacted Kingston’s and have been pretty happy with their quotes. I’m sure non-running will be a premium, but not sure if it will be much.
Make sure you have all your registration docs and that the car has the original chassis and engine (or one of an identical type).

Also make sure there’s no soil on or in it. Don’t fill it with spares either as the customs will want to inspect them and charge you storage until they get around to it!
