Simple pleasures!

Good wipers are one of life's great pleasures. Anything less than perfect is one of life's great fails. I really like the RAVs wipers. I can't really fathom why.

Managed to change the Stellar's rear wheel bearing without the use of a press! Although next time I think I will pop round to the local garage and borrow theirs - just didn't want to wait until the weekend.

Getting the retaining ring on was the trickiest - I'd heated it up OK but once it was halfway on started to cool quite rapidly. Got there in the end though :-)

I saw the same thing some years ago, late evening and the old fella was having trouble getting home from the pub. We have a different police style here though. Old fella was taken home by the law taxi service, and the other law enforcer present was last seen driving off down the street on a mobility scooter  :-D .

Remember the MororWeek road test videos from the 70s?

Well they're still going.

Same guy fronting them, he didn't get old, he just got orange!

I just got pulled by the Bulgarian village traffic police. I forgot to put my headlights on (they have to be on 24/7 up here in the mountains) and was fearing a stern telling off or worse from the sweaty, grumpy, bored officers. They started talking to me in the most unpleasant manner until they noticed my pink nail varnish, at which point they both were overcome with laughter for at least a minute and then sent me on my way.

Moral - Allowing people to do things to you when you're drunk is not always a bad idea.

For good wipers that satisfy an Autoshite budget, try Trupart brand ones from eBay. Excellent and cost pennies

I have made a car engine work better than it did before I started working on it!  This has never happened before as far as I can remember.

It was only the Jeep, but still.

Went to the scrapyard to get a Focus door trim. Found a car with the right trim but some fud had ripped the card off with his hands rather than spend 4 minutes undoing 7 screws. Quite unsatisfying.

This wasn't a scrapyard in derby last last year was it? If so my apologies.

Hey, there are two types of guy in the world, the ones who own an Abba album, or the ones who want one but are too ashamed to admit it to themselves/others.

Anyway, my grin comes from the key ring that my aunt bought for me when she went to the shops earlier.

Needless to say, it has already made its way to my keys.

you are missing the third type of guy, those who would genuinely cheer if ISIS decided to invade whatever pop hell hole ABBA exist in, if they could take out Kylie Minogue on the way then mores the better. That would be a grin post.

I bought a pair for the fiat from lidl 9 years ago and they're still fine- replaced the original fiat branded ones who were purely decorative. £4.99 a pair I think.

I'm feeling very pleased that I came up with a sensible solution to the shortage of dog chews. I only had two large chews left, but four dogs, I completely failed to cut the chews with my biggest, sharpest, knife, I then had a brainwave and got my cordless jigsaw which did the trick straight away, so it has now been promoted to share a drawer with the other kitchen utensils.

I'm not sure that I can explain this beyond, a Finnish Autoshite simulator for the PC.

Drink, play with tools, drive randomly.

I am making this game because this game needs to be made. This is not made because this is fun game, but because it is NOT!

I need this game

Watched about half an hour of the promo vid, this guy is amazing lol

Don't need a PC to simulate my Autoshite life, just a bottle of used 10W40, a sharp pointy thing and a plastic tray to collect the drips. It's like Jackson Pollock in ultra slow-mo.

I do like what I've heard of FAK, but I hadn't seen this! And I'm an Abba fan too (), so this is perfect :-)

Good on you, and for £4 they were a bargain.

I missed out on buying an ELO album with the original poster for £4 a few weeks ago, and still wish I'd bought it, even though I have no real need for it.

When I brought the Mercury over from the US I found a really old can of easy start under the front seat. It was really old and must have been in there years. It's still got loads left in it too.

Someone else I was talking to told me about another yank he imported and found a pistol under the seat!

They played at Hull University when I was there in the 80s. Part of the rider was to have an offstage area where Buster could set up his Scalextric. He had a break in the middle of the gig and while the band played on he had a couple of races.

He also had a fairly disasterous go at running his own hotel for a while.

Bad manners are playing at a venue near me on Oct 20th,only an hours drive.
