this Maserati kamsin  is outside at the moment, heading to Olympia for the Sotheby's sale.

I particularly like the description of recent commissioning.

Receipts totaling £29,461.40 for parts and labour dated 9 August 2019 by McGrath Maserati, a copy of the nine-page invoice exhaustively detailing the recommissioning of this Khamsin, is available for inspection. Unusually, it was fitted from new with a tow bar along with a stainless-steel exhaust system, the only known deviations from factory specs.

Is this picture taken outside your office?

Mr Mason is selling a few. Must have spotted something on the ebay that thread, making room on the drive.

Ok, so I need to start planning logistics to erm, Peterhead, that's basically Norway innit?

Norway is probably easier to get to!

Bus or (expensive) taxi from Aberdeen the only options. I am in France until the beginning of next month but happy to help with a lift after that if it suits.

Thanks for the offer Saabnut, I'd prefer to collect it a little early, so am trying to concoct a plan going up this weekend.
Suddenly I'm regretting buying lots of tickets in the Yaris roffle, but hey ho, what's the worst that could happen …..

I'm not sure my car would be popular in a place like that, it doesn't strike me as the sort of gaff where fans of noisy Japanese coupes would live.

Bought my oldest car to date- a 1958 Austin A55 Cambridge. ?  Has been standing for about a year but is now running and driving and will hopefully be back on the road shortly.

Keeping your A60?

Yes, one car I'm very reluctant to part with. Had a hankering for something older for a while now and heard about this through word of mouth after the owner passed away in January. Not a perfect example but a straight, honest old thing and a good introduction to 1950's motoring.

Just watched the 'vets' in Yorks. Some one claimed to have silly numbers of Invacars! Glad they're not bothering us on here! {Hides}

So at least one of your neighbours has bad taste in cars then! ?

Autoshite is accessible in Shanghai. Hoorah! My flight leaves in nine hours and I'm stuck at the airport. Too knackered to explore.

We’re not deemed a threat as our version of the capitalist dream is a bit shonky...

That Cambridge is seriously charming. Tweed Grey with Cherry Red interior is a lovely combination, it has its original seats and radio as well. Also, correct gear change!

i would have done far better buying something like this than the rotten wreck I bought and subsequently spent thousands and many hours of labour on. It’s buried in the back of my parents garage at the moment - really must get the Royale finished so I can plough on with it.

Hooray. Anywhere to have a sleep? Is that where the Maglev runs from....I'd be tempted by a quick return journey on that.

And in exciting news, the Vel Satis passed its MOT this morning.

wasn't a bloke called Simon Mckeown was it?

he is the guy that "runs" the ICR and as such has the ICRs collection of about 20 Invalid vehicles of some kind or another!

and he is Yorkshire IIRC!

(I say runs, he puts on art exhibits with them but sadly does not do much for the vehicles themselves...)

Delish! So far this year I've had Pestle Puffball, wax caps, Shaggy ink caps and I know where there are usually some agaricus, or field mushrooms, similar to the horse mushroom... Yum!
