Some Vapes contain nasty stuff.

Be about 60 years before they admit it.

Probably just after they dream something else up to use instead.

They're relatively new devices compared to many other methods of kicking the habit. They're still studying the long term effects.

Obviously I'm no vape expert.

Other than wishing harm to those knobs who think it's cool to blow needless clouds of smoke / steam whatever everywhere.

Not all vapes make massive clouds of steam. Mine doesn't make much more vapour than smoke if I had a fag on the go.

E liquids are made with propylene glycol, vegetable glycerine and flavourings, the first two are common food additives. I wouldn't say vaping is healthy but it's a lot better than the well known nasties in cigarettes.

Well known nasties in cigarettes were not well known nasties when I was a kid.

Bit like Cyril Smith insisting that Asbestos was harmless since it provided work for a lot of people.

It also provided death for many later on.

Just to add I am not anti smoking or vaping. Each to their own. I did smoke myself years ago.

I saw an old fella on a bike today smoking a pipe.

Not seen anyone smoke a pipe for years.

Made me wonder why they don't make vapes that look like pipes? That would be cool.

They do, I have one, bought for me by my son for Christmas a couple of years ago. I have on occasion, smoked a real pipe and I quite like it! :)

I have smoked a pipe for over 12 years now, usually one a day. The only pipes worth smoking are Dunhill, if you go onto one of these from some other pipe it is a whole new experience.

Anyway, any Brum shiters who could view and collect 5 tyres for me from Sheldon por favor?

I succesfully gave up smoking 5 years ago using Ecigs, the only problem being I now can't give up the bloody Ecig!

I was offered a contract to help a tobacco company design and develop an e-cig product about 7 years ago.

I explained that there was only one industry I'd never work in on principle.

I'd happily take money for making weapons, alcohol, drugs, adult sex toys, meat pies, GM foods, tracking, but never the fag industry. Lying murdering twats.

Some Netflix series Britannia is filming along my commute to work this week. Anyone know it? Saw them tonight trucking a load of lights and generators along the country lane. Apparently they’re taking over the car parks that Surrey just started charging for.

Led headlamp bulbs installed... in the focus

They're pretty good.

That's a bit unfortunate given how close Sheldon is to the NEC!

Will a bicycle fit in a Triumph Acclaim?

Yes, although you do have to dismantle both the bicycle and the car...

I'm not sure what I'm looking at a picture of, but I've regularly had my track bike in my 416s (front wheel off and put in boot, rest of bike across back seat), and into my Civic, 216 and 740 wagon in one piece, so the answer is definitely yes.

I've also had a mountain bike in the boot of a B5 A4 saloon with the wheels off, ask bub2006.

Well im happy to test drive and get a brochure. It sounded good, just looked awful ( IMO). My nearest dealer is panghourne so unless they want to offer me an extended daily test I won’t bother.

It looks very Audi at the rear, and there's more than a hint of Porsche Cayenne at the front.

From the side the design language is very close to what Honda have been punting out on a larger scale?

I'm sure they'll sell loads though

I was going through to Johnstone the other day and noticed this faded nod to shite of yore. It's near the former Linwood plant that produced the Hillman Imp then laterly the Avenger and Sunbeam.

I feel sad that Pangbourne allows that kind of thing. Nowhere is safe it seems.

I take it you've been in a minor with Tickman then?

I am hoping the Oxford can be similar;)

And apparently the car was recovered without damage!

Even with modern seats and belts, it's amazing how much of the seat you can gather up mid corner if you hit a bump or carry a bit too much speed. I should imagine that interior will need a jet wash.....

I think I've had this informative publication since I was about 3 years old...(highlights). Again, more pipe smoking! Based on Aston Martin.

I'm sure there are a fair few on here who would relish having both a bus and an AX..

Love the book. It's got a very 60's vibe to it. Gonna be looking on eBay for this.
