Could be a Leyland minibus. Plenty of pub landlords got into scrapes with the polis and were 'taken to the station to help with enquiries'

I hope it's BL whatever it is. The Roundel of Win

It's like a disease isn't it?

Don't worry, I also have the same problem 😁

I'm going to take a left-field punt and say Cadillac Seville STS. Although these are perhaps more "failing nightclub owner" than pub landlord, unless it's a flat roof pub.

Nice. Also Sparkford, home to the Haynes BOL for a Brucie Bonus.

  • HMC changed the title to HMC- NEW Granada mk2 2.8 ghia landlord edition

I immediately thought of the various mk2 granadas on the sainsburys archive for some reason when i saw it, but especially this classic shot from Chingford, 1994

Buh is also a Suffolk word for ‘mate’, I’d choose that definition.

Where most of the country would say “what is going on mate? In Norfolk you say “Wossgornon buh?”

Well bought.

Looking at the photos, I reckon this would suit a pub landlord like this.

That is fantastically shit. Good work keeping it away from the Oval.

Wow, that looks proper grim, electric seats must be pretty rare even in the Ghia? With a bit of love this could improve quite a bit.

You bad bad man!

I absolutely love these! Very much reminds me of my old estate version. Same interior and everything. Is the paint Mineral blue by any chance? Looks like it in the photos. Probably the car I most regret selling.

Awesome cars. My dad used to have a Granada 2.8 Ghia X back in 1996. My most vivid memory of that car was @DaveDorson getting smacked in the head by a bag of tent poles in the back of it.

We were coming back from a camping holiday one night in a very loaded car when some deer jumped out in front of us. No one knows how my dad managed to avoid them, but he did leave some really impressive tyre marks on the road that night. It happened on a fast down hill near Rutland Water, and I was asleep up until tyres started screeching. I remember my parents asking if we were all ok and Dave replying 'not really!'. To be fair it was a bag of steel poles from a very old and sturdy tent.

My mates mum used to have the estate version, that was a cool car too.
