I keep seeing a metallic blue Fiat X1/9 around the place but I've yet to capture it.

Yesterday I spotted a Volvo Amazon, it was that lovely bluish grey a lot of them are. It was very clean, but slightly ruined by having cheap silver and black plates on it (see @LightBulbFunI do *sometimes* think there's a place for nicer/correct plates) but overall it was very nice. I initially saw it parked up, then it drove past later on being followed by some pre war thing I didn't recognise.

I've been driving a lot for work this week, but my day was markedly improved yesterday when I spotted this on the M25 by the M40 junction

Not my pic, but the actual car. A Marcos LM500! I thought it was a Mantula (one of my favourite cars of all time) but on closer inspection it is/was an LM500, which wikipedia tells me is a Mantara with a 5.0 rover v8 putting out about 350bhp. In an 1100kg car made of fibreglass and balsa wood and angle iron.

Not only that, when I pulled alongside in traffic it was being driven by a woman in her late 50s who is 100% a member of the WI! She looked like my mum, about 15 years ago. What a hero(ine)!

She zoomed off the M25 and off up the M40 when the traffic cleared, and it sounded glorious.

Eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw a Renault 12 passing in the opposite lane of the Sydenham bypass the other day. Red, with a black panel between the rear lights, so possibly TS spec?

Didn't get the full registration, but believe it was an S-suffix, so '77-'78.

Not exactly a common sight in Belfast, but there was a blue saloon on an R-reg puttering about a few years ago, so could be the same Rennernut piloting a new toy.

A weird assumed aston martin. On a rural backroad near my house plate was AML and a single digit. Looked very 70’s box angles and a low nose. Silver/pale grey.

A bit ungainly.

Wasn’t a Lagonda was it?

Interestingly there’s only two AML (single digit) reg numbers AML2 is on a DB5 and AML3 is on an Audi.
