Went to that one last year when exchanging cars with No1 son. Took in the autotest action*  down the road while eating. High marks! For the F+C anyway,....

If you can wait a few hours for me to replace my rear discs and pads I can be on standby in oxfordshire/bucks/m40 incase of need!

Best chippie in Seaton is the one opposite the CO-Op carpark. Park in there and cross the road up an alley way towards the beach. Not the cheapest but they are award winning!

Aren't they all ? Honestly I think every chippy I've ever been in ( if you have met me you will realise its a few) has some best chippy award . There must be thousands of awards / categories

To add to the disappointment of the morning the 1hr train journey to London has been replaced by a bus to Peterborough, so 45mins bus and 50 mins train. This could make my journey across London for my connection a little more stressful.

If you are more than 30 mins late you can claim half the fare back. Over an hour late and all of the fare (IIRC)

Sit rep; 40+ miles done I'm at Sedgemore services south of Bristol and it runs ok. The handling is less good and I do find myself sawing at the steering wheel occasionally. 60mph is fine on the motorway, it will go faster, but best not push it.

198 miles to go.

Those tyres, whilst brilliant in the mud, will be ruining tarmac experience.

That blurry petrol station shot is one of the best pictures I've ever seen on here.

that is so ugly I must have it :D

Very true, special tracks are awesome mud pluggers but frickin noisy on the road and pant ruiningly scary in the wet.

If you squint enough, the number plate reads "Shitta" :)

I'll bet that gets some strange looks trundling up the M5

Ah bless. It looks so sad :-(

Hope it's new owner can cheer it up.

Ummazing!!! Glad to hear all is well so far, TA is an exeter reg so just getting over the border into Somerset could be the furthest north it's been so far!

Sit rep:
Hopwood Park services M42, 150 miles driven.
It's just gone dark so I pulled over to check the light situation, verdict, it could be better. O/s headlamp inoperable, nsr indicator inoperable & dash lights non-existent, all other lights appear functional.
No real issues so far, approx half a tank of fuel used, but as I have no idea how big the tank is or how accurate the gauge is I'll likely fill up before I get home.

100 miles to go, hopeful eta skattrd-towers 21:30

StUMMing. Any photos of INDENOR?

I'm trying to get home without opening the bonnet, maybe tomorrow ;)

I bet it looks even more tragic with only one functioning headlight.  Superb work, showing the rest of us how it's done!

Possibly the very finest vehicle I have ever seen.  Yet again Autoshite reaches new heights of splendiferousitude.

Bit late to this. I've been in the Axminster Carpets factory shop this afternoon, which is almost close enough to see the station.

Bah! Missed pap opportunity.

Top shiting!  A pity you didn't fill up at the River Cottage Canteen in Axminster.  Better than a packet of Cheesy Wotsits.

Hope you get back (mostly) in one piece.

If you can make Mr Bickle say that, you have won Autoshite forever.  Someone bring him the gold trophy!

You're absolutely bonkers! I've met you and you really don't look like the kind of chap to own a truck like this! Excellent!
