My dad has a Merc 190 HBOL lying around, and also a propshaft (was on a late 190E 1.8 if it makes a diff-erence?). He's only had Hondas for the past 7 years so I doubt he needs either - I'll ask him if he wants rid, if anyone's interested.

Wanted, Porsche DME relay. The 944 is now failing to start due to lack of fuel pump action. A bridge of terminals fires the fuel pump, suggesting this box of shit is to blame. Ebay searches bring up £20-odd. I'm tight.

I've got the Citroen Diesel Engine HBOL which covers the 1.7 and 1.9 engines.

 

It's like this one on Ebay but obviously will only be the cost of postage, not the £6 this guy thinks one is worth !!!

Erm, Citroen Diesel engine HBOL you say? DW gave me a BX manual but it doesn't cover the diesels. He also passed on a discovery manual which I've passed on to CITW. This could mean 1) DW still has a diesel manual and he gave me the wrong one. Or 2) YES PLEASE!

i know of a lad  racing a mk2 granada 2.8i around warton soon, i've got dibs on the calipers and mastercylinder, but i'll ask about the flexplate. Unless you want the full motor (i remember you had some injection problems, but i don't know if you sorted them.)

I deffo need a flexplate. I would also buy all the injection related parts, if he doesn't need them, especially the metering unit. Or is he racing injected?

I don't know, he's a mate of a lad i work with. I'll ask tomorrow though and let you know the score. The lad is Darwin based, only around 40 mnutes from you, but i don't mind helping with removal and transport if needed.

I've probably sorted this but just on the off chance does anybody have a Disco 300tdi rear exhaust section or a 200tdi centre?

 

I just went to attatch the 200tdi rear that I bought and was rather confused that it didn't fit.

Nope, but that reminds me - do you (or anyone else) need a rear seal for the R380 gearbox? Bought one for the Stellar only to find that the 4x4 and 2wd versions of the 'box have different seals...

Does it have a rear seal as such?  The drive comes out the side into the transfer box.

 

I have a new seal here somewhere for the front of the transfer box and I'm hoping that the rear one will be ok after being disturbed to swap in new propshaft bolts.
