Before I have to suffer the indignity of dealing with the mongs of ebay I thought I'd put this here to see if anyones interested in bringing their ICE roaring into the late 1990's!!! Im offering for sale a JVC KS-FX222 Car Radio, a JVC 12 CD Multichanger in carpeted mounting box, a VRX MF-400 Amp & a VRX 10†Subwoofer in box

 

Whats included:

1x JVC KS-FX222 AM/FM 4x45w car radio cassette player with cd controls, detachable face, cage, wiring loom, instructions & identity card

1x JVC CH-X550 12 CD multi changer mounted in carpet lined box for easy installation & instructions

1x VRX MF-400 400w 2 channel amplifier with power input level & sub on/off controls

1x VRX 10†subwoofer mounted in black carpeted box

 

Whats not included:

Any wiring for amp & sub

Connecting wire from headunit to multichanger (available on ebay for not much money, I damaged it trying to remove it)

 

Reason for Sale:

I have upgraded to DAB in my car & van. At the same time I removed the amp & sub from my campervan to free up some extra storage space under the rear seats.

 

Condition:

All items are in used, 100% working condition.

Collection from Liverpool due to weight.

A couch and a cellphone offered, the couch is an old Chesterfield 3 seater, needs work, I did plan on treating the leather and getting one of those fancy recolouring kits to tart it up, replace a couple of buttons and recover a couple of the cushions, but it's been waiting many years for this in a dusty workshop and I need the space, free to whoever collects from North Watford by the M1.

Wanted :

early Volvo V70 (upto 2000) driver's side main window control switch.

 

Actually a broken passenger side window switch stops all the windows from working.

Bought a complete car so switches now not needed.

Wanted rather urgently BX lower balljoint

 

I currently have my BX estate in bits on the street outside. I've swapped the n/s strut and got the driveshaft out for attention and in doing all of this attempted to disconnect the balljoint from the wishbone. The nut unscrewed halfway then something snapped and now it's stuck there

 

I managed to unscrew the hub from it without too much swearing so a tickle with an angle grinder and a new ball joint will see me mobile again but I can't get one till Wednesday through the usual channels so has anybody localish got a spare that I can buy?

 

All my other cars are broken too but we have a railway station within cycling distance.

No help from me Rich, but I'd check ebay for one or even a s/hand wishbone with one in, sort by distance, there may be one at the end of a bike/train journey.

I take it there are no motor factors open Sunday within a reasonable distance of you.

Theres a few motor factors open but all of them would need to order it in and the companies they would order it from arn't open till Tuesday.

 

It's not the end of the world as I've got next week off work

 

EDIT, all sorted now. My mate is lending me his motor to collect the bit from a BXC forum member in Kington

My dad bought this R19 because he felt sorry for it. Now it turns out that he hates driving a convertible - it makes his ears hurt.

He is keeping his Safrane, Twingo and Master, so will stick to the Renner Shite.

 

Has got the the wheel on the wrong side for you, sorry... But it is one of those rare Phase 1 convertible.

That Renault 19 looks fantastic. Have owned 2 phase 1 hatchbacks myself a J reg 5 DR Metalic Blue GTD 1.9 and a J reg 5 DR Metalic Grey GTS-X 1.4 both were great motors hope yours finds a good home.

Wanted Heater motor blower for MK3 Marina/Ital. I acquired a spares car with a heater motor and some spares from a club member in England with an untered motor. Both motors only work on the fast speed. Thus i need a heater motor blower that works on both slow and high speed. Then i can change the dash as well!

Isn't that an indication of a resistor pack fault rather than a motor issue?

I have no experience of the car in question, but its been a common fault on most cars I've owned.
