Yeah don't I know it. I went down a proper rabbit hole with those, had about a dozen different ones before deciding to get rid of the lot. I might list all the ones I found later but it has reminded me to show this

Had to go over to Tesco at Ingleby for fuel, not one I normally go to as it's a bit out of the way. As I was there I thought I'd check out what their Tescotainer was like.

A sight better than anywhere in Middlesbrough at the moment is the short answer.

A fairly fresh selction in the rummage box. Not sure which case these are from as supply is so sporadic at the moment, I've not been keeping up.

The new leccy Honda is a nice wee thing. Pretty neat tampo printing on it as well including the sunroof detail

Liking the + and - terminal detail on the headlight covers too,

The custom version of the EG Civic is a bit Marmite, but an attractive colour and livery on this release.

Onto Mazda and another nice colour for the RX-7,

And I can never resist the RX-3 when I see one. The new 4-spoke wheels look great on it.

The Dodge 330 is a neat new casting. I like the '60s style drag racing livery.

This is the one I've been hoping to find, a great new casting. Glad they haven't ruined it with a chrome interior.

Popped into Smyths earlier and netted some cheap premiums for donors/customs

They also had a full set of the new Silverline series 

All very lovely but the Porsche and Honda are my favourites

Entertainer had 5 identical E cases in today with nothing new. Tescotainer had quite a big delivery and not all of it came out, went through two F cases and only found this 33 which was new to me

However the Matchbox F case was full of treats

Looks very orange compared to the card art. This one doesn't 

How strange. No orange Super Chases in this case unfortunately 

Just when I think I should stop buying modern diecasts and concentrate on the vintage ones, Matchbox drop a case like this and I'm done for. What a great mix, and I'm sure there are others in there such as the Sprinter that will be of interest to others on here

Nice finds! 

Some great Matchbox coming out at the minute - places local to me are still overrun with B case models, but I'm sure the new stuff will percolate down soon enough. 

Sprinter ambulance is one I'm keeping an eye out for! 

Called into Smyths on my way home, but nothing doing - interestingly, those same F&F Plymouths are still priced at £7 in the Newtownabbey branch bargain bins, so it seems there's store discretion over how much they're reduced by.

@bunglebus that MB 69 Camaro convertible looks ripe for a spot of extra detail painting in. Grill, lights etc etc. it’ll look really good with that little bit extra.

There was some casting carry-over - do any of the insides of the buckets on these ones say Mini-Dinky?

There are loads of variations of that little Lansing Bagnall casting; colours, wheels, stickers. I only twigged a few years back that some of them have cast-in steering wheels, while others have separate plastic ones fitted.

I recently picked up a later version with the roll cage fitted which I didn't know existed; apparently only made for the 1983 catalogue year.

Mine definitely both had the unpainted hoists and yellow forks so they were probably from the container port set. I'd forgotten about the casting difference but I seem to recall one had a plastic steering wheel and the other a cast one, which confused the young me as I couldn't understand why they were different.

I wonder why they made the ones in the sets a slightly different colour scheme. Kids wouldn't even notice and it would make a lot more sense to make a load all the same and just grab a handful to put in the sets.

@andrew e seems to rate Dunton, I found it a bit to heavy on market traders myself. A bit further afield is the Marks Tey Wednesday boot sale that I've heard good things about, one of my regular sellers trades there and @Amishtat used to find some interesting goodies there too

Top sleuthing, I'm happy to pass them on as they're definitely interesting but not really my raison d'etre. 

There are plenty of places to hunt for toy cars around Billericay Basildon and surrounding areas if you get the opportunity

A bit of bare naked metal is happening here, Graffic Traffic about to receive a fresh coat of white. Plenty of casting lines and linisher marks on this one

Had to drop the daughter off in town today, and as I don't venture into the town centre much, I thought I'd have a look in Entertainer.

Lots of E case Hot Wheels like I found in Tesco the other day, but I did grab the pink Gwyndaf Evans-inspired Cossie that has so far eluded me.

A big selection of Majorette stuff too, more than I've seen anywhere else. I was happy to find the Majorette Collection stuff as this Beemer has been winking at me from AliExpress for quite a while, but I didn't want to pay £13 for it.

A lovely, detailed thing, but seems tiny to me nearer 1/72 than 1/64?

@flat4alfa I don't mind it at all, but it can be full of traders like Rich says, so I start at the back of the field with the regular folks and work up to the front. I’m working Wednesday or I’d say hello 👍

We went to a sunny and cold Ford Market followed by a toy fair in Bognor this morning

From the market I picked up the following

A nice Corgi Cobra Mustang and Corniche both in colours I didn't have

The Mustang is really nice

Interesting 1/24 Fiat 127 from Martoys, never heard of them

Spars & Reapers Corgi etc

Now from the toy fair

D Type Jag to go with my Corgi Ecurie Ecosse, yes I know it's a Dinky, but still want it

Donor Corgi Rover as I need a glass roof for a nice Whizzweels version I have

Mixed bunch of cheap Corgi, dinky & Bburagos, I'm particularly pleased with the Torino as after I sent the last one to Eddy, I really wanted one of my own! Also needed a Corgi Whizzwheels P1800 for a Tri Deck Transporter set and the SM in that colour I've been looking for for ages

About The SM, I had one  in the luminous yellow/green metallic as a kid and still had it in the box in the loft until fairly recently. Somehow it disappeared along with a boxed Corgi Fulvia Zagato when Mrs Concern needed a large cardboard box and swapped all my old toys into something else. I've not seen one in this colour, usually they are pink and often a lot more than this was so I'm really pleased (Not forgiven Mrs Concern though!).

I hummed and harred about this Spot On Commer van as it is has the money slot in the roof and it a bit too clean to re paint despite the missing bumper and rear doors  

I'm glad I got now as it looks great on display with some other Spot Ons. I have looked at Steve Flowers and he does all the parts, but the hinges are 90p each, ouch!

I also got a few toys at Brighton Lanes Market a few weeks ago

I didn't have a Cowley before and the Consul and Vogue I picked up just because I could. The Trans Am is marked a Z-Toys, I thought it was Zlymex

I also got a Bunglebox a few weeks ago, superbly packaged as always. The 305 can go with my Norev and Hot Wheels versions. I don't usually collect 1/24 scale and was kind of wondering why I asked for the Cobra Mustang

Having taken it out, I know why, it's bloody lovely, so pleased with it

Opening everything and proper steering, what more could you ask?

Not sure yet how to display it, but lovin it anyway.

Some good stuff up there ^ AMX is the KP-1 black version which has clear glazing unlike the earlier ones. I have a spare one tucked away for customising somewhere.

Big Corgi Mustang is also a new one on me in that colour scheme

Zee Toys and Zylmex are the same company FYI - same with Martoys, they became Bburago after the first two years I believe, the Mustang I sent you came from a big boot sale lot that included a couple

Oh right that's interesting about the Martoys, I have Bburago versions of both the Alpine and the 911, but I didn't twig when you posted that originally.

OK I'll do my best here but Flickr is playing up and not finding everything for some reason.

Usual type, red, black base, yellow uprights, grey forks, plastic steering wheel, Spyro front and five slot rear wheels

Same, but a green base

Spyro front, dot-dash rear wheels

Dot-dash front and rear

The cast-in steering wheel seems to be quite uncommon...

...except on this version with bare metal uprights and base, red forks that differ from the usual ones, dot-dash wheels

The Container Port one, bare metal uprights and base, yellow forks, dot-dash wheels front and rear. Just noticed there's no patent number on the base either

The later "Hi-Lift" type with the protective cage, bare metal uprights, black base without patent number, black forks

The same, but orange. Both silver and black painted bases found

I'm sure when I was collecting them I found more differences but that'll do for a start

Not a car , but I've just dug this out . Must be 35 years old ... ace toy from Tomy . The youtube @ 1.00 minute in shows how to recoil pull start it .. Brilliant ... as some times it takes a few pulls before it runs continually... just like a real engine .. !  

I think they're quite rare ..

Regent is a funny auction - lots of "lots" goe quite cheaply, then the odd thing goes mental - mostly jewellery & local memorabilia.
If you want me to lob a bid in on your behalf I can do, just tell me how much.
Did something similar for @LightBulbFun once, but the auction (Leyland) that his lot was in attracts a lot of dealers & collectors, whereas Blackpool doesnt seem to have the same appeal for some reason.
Me & a mate bid on stuff in both & then sell on usually on eBay for a small profit though I do bid on bits and bobs to keep too (in this one it will be the Golly catalogue)
