  1. A few I picked up at the same toy fair as Junkyardog. Some little Fiats for my collection nd the Mk2 for my brother. Bonus buy was the 2 rare Irish car mags from 1963,
  2. Built by a bloke called Mervyn in Weston Super Mare
  3. Useless Ibiza fact, in the carpark scene with the BMW 7 series in the Tomorrow Never Dies Bond movie, in one shot there is a red Mk1 Ibiza on Fiat X1/9 alloys
  4. I don't know if Seat did it any different to Fiat, but if it starts to give symptoms of a dodgy fuel pump, it probably won't be the pump itself, there's a pin that hits the cam on the pump which is made of softer metal than the pump and it wears, the 903 Unos were b@stards for this when I worked in a Fiat dealers back in the 90s
  5. Yugo 45s, Autobianchi A112s , and about 3 million Fiat 127s. They were also in the rear of the Fiat 850 but run anticlockwise, and the engine was originally designed for the 600 of 1955, the 899 in the Cinquecento is basically the same unit
  6. This is probably the most well known 504 in Ireland. Converted from a new 1.8 petrol estate to a hearse and kept in perfect running order after it was retired from "active duty" It stayed with the undertaker until his death and is now owned by a collector in Kerry who uses it sparingly for shows, and was used recently for a funeral of a man who had owned a Peugeot dealership in the 70s
  7. Not stolen, both designed by Michelotti, but he didn't start with a blank canvas when doing the Hino 😉
  8. £10k is just over €11k, so I'd haggle this one down from €12k asking price , and buy an original chrome grill. It doesn't need any else it's an Integrale with 340bhp 😁
  9. Popped into a local model shop and picked up these 2 for €5. Mutipla by Solido
  10. A few more I picked up today. I actually collect old Irish car mags but have small collection of model Fiats and the 1500 is really nice. The Kadett will probably go to my brother as he has a full size one, a Rallye the lucky git
  11. 2 from the €1 tray at a model fair today. The Miura was crying out for rescue as it had an orange bulldozer pushing it off the tray 😄
  12. Fiat predicting what it would become, a 127 Rustica
  13. A Dublin reg 14 was on the front cover of Auto Ireland , however the car is lhd and the reg belongs to a Renault 12, legend has it someone from the Irish distributor attending the press launch in France fitted the plates to use for advertising back in Ireland
  14. I spoke to the owner of a W115 200D from the South West here in Ireland. He said on some of the mountain roads in Cork and Kerry he had to leave it in 1st gear!
  15. One of approx 100 Ambassadors sold in Ireland, I believe the only export market for them? Currently on sale over here on donedeal advertised as a Princess
  16. Fiat 127 Sport for £250 in 1996 . I didn't buy because of rust around the windscreen. it was the hens teeth rare silver colour. 3 dr black Saab 99 Turbo that was left in to a garage I worked, around 1993 for a roadworthiness test for insurance .Turned out the young lad who had just bought it couldn't get it insured and asked if any of us in the garage wanted it. Iirc £200 would have bought it
  17. At the Terenure Show, Dublin 2018, but I saw it posted on facebook last year at another show in Dublin
  18. There's a Belfast reg one that appears at shows in Ireland
  19. Subaru entered one for Colin Mc Rae for the 1993 Safari Rally, it didn't take him long to kill it😁
  20. Saab 99 Turbo for 200 Irish punts in the early 1990s, couldn't get insurance. In the early 2000s, a really nice mk1 Triumph 2.5PI that I had arranged to drive 80 miles to view, seller sold it without bothering to call/text me on the way. I still see it at car shows In the late 1990s, a Fiat 127 Sport advertised for £650, this was a misprint, seller only wanted 250 but windscreen pillars were rotten so I walked away , it was silver, apparently only 1 rhd silver remains in UK/Ireland, at least that one is in my brother's shed I rented a property about 15 years ago of a family whose son had a Daihatsu Charade GTTI convertible, 1 of only 2 made, he crashed it, bought another breaker Gtti to repair it he stripped them and let them sit in the yard. I could've persuaded his parents to sell it. It's probably still there
  21. Picked up these 3 today Solido X1/9 is in really good condition. Bburago Tipo has had its bumpers painted and paper hubcaps glued on. Maisto Marea was thrown into the deal.
  22. Your hubcap looks like the ones on my W115. Mercedes actually had a special tool to mask the 3 pointed star on hubcaps so they can be painted
  23. Ok, I saw a guy on YouTube taking a pump of a W115 240D and it was a 2 bolt
