I'm quite surprised at myself for liking it on the Vitesse rims.

I've seen one on Jensen Interceptor rims, that looked rather bloody good.

Ah, my dear old Paprika P6B. I owned that 2004-2007. Sold it to a fella from Southampton. Good, reliable car, I did 10k in it. It was originally a 3500 but previous owner fitted the LT77. Has ported and flowed heads with SD1 cam - so I popped the 3500S badging to annoy the purists but help the resale. Plate is original. Seats are tan leather. Paint was patchy so he had it painted later. Didn't fix the aerial though I see!

It's also been seen driving through Swansea city centre so it gets about... so, Suffolk eh?

Hehe, I just wish I had enough time to do them all justice, Billy. I've only managed to spend one day in the last 2 weeks on the Mas and that was a wash-out 'cos I ran out of argon for the mig.

The bikes? I've a 1986 Honda CBX750F and a 1982 Suzuki GSX1100SZ Katana :D

Not sure if I posted these when I first joined. Anyway we have 3 Rovers all of which are off the road.

This one we've had since about 2002(ish), has had a new gearbox and a lot of new parts after its most recent MOT currently waiting a new engine.

2jbkuv4.jpg

This one we've had since 2006ish, as can be seen by the front photo it had an accident and that has kept it off the road as no time to repair it to get it to pass its MOT, this one will probably be scrapped though.

We also have a Rover 75 which is currently having its front end fixed but hopefully will be done before summers out. Don't have any photos of that though as its currently under a sheet to put off the "mate is that for scrap" brigade.

Other than that we have a Mk1 Corsa (not super) and a Fiesta Mk-onebeforethelatest, which is semi auto and is fairly nice.

A year ago, I was smoking around in this right crock o'shite:

The MOT ran out in December and I strongly suspect that it has been cubed.

1 property sale later & a little more cash to spend, I now own this:

Not mine, but I had it for a few days to see if I could fix it. Fix it I did (it ate its fuel pump) with help from some members here.

Despite no turbo, it went very well

Here's a bit of a 1987 moment

Incidentally, can I ask how the word 'chod' relates to old motors?

I looked it up & got this; 'A dick that is wider than long'

Which puzzled me

barefoot - was the number real on that Porker?

If so, did you keep it?

It's the worlds dodgiest numberplate.

It's actually B10 NFC, but the horizontal bits of the F are about a quarter of an inch long.

I've been stopped 3 times in the 15 years that I've been wearing it.

2 X presents at an MOT place

& 1 X £20 fine after which I changed the back one to read B10NFC all scrunched up.

They are attached with velcro and I have a set of correct ones under the boot carpet.

I take it to the same place for MOT every year as it is

and sometimes it passes because they can't be bothered

and sometimes it fails for having 'different plates front & rear' or something.

So I pull them off, stick the proper ones on, have a quick re-test

and put the dodgy ones back on when I get home.

I'm sure this situation won't last forever...

I guess I'd better add mine although most of you have already seen them before.

Last one left over here, apparently

1984 Alfa 33 Gold Cloverleaf. The comfy one with wood wheel and knob, e/w, lamp wipers, trip computer (works! a bit). It's done a purported 36k and does look like no further. Pottered about in it for a few months and let MOT lapse. Have stripped down a rotted Green Cloverleaf so that engine and suspension is going into this, polybushing and dampering as you go. Not that it all needs to, but it sort of has to because Luigi the Alfa designer forgot to put the ARB on this model, and well, why not, it can always go back the way it was. Apart from the 145 wheels, it will stay looking stock and spoiler free.

Yes they did, They spelt my name with a EA which is one of my pet hates, in fact the whole write up was littered with errors!

I almost went one better Trig. When I did that write up in Classic Car Mart on the Kadett, I almost got your surname entirely wrong! Cue a hasty email to the editor to change it all the way through when I realised. What an idiot!

My PC arrived today, so I've found me and Trig... :D I've shown off 7 cars now, in 4 issues of 2 titles. Not bad going, methinks...
