I am planning on visiting ( in the modern fiat ) and will bring the box of cars up for people to select something.

will go for a walk nearby first as it’s an excuse to visit godstone and that bit of the greensand way.

A nice selection of cars and even though there were no Citroens there was still a car leaking LHM.And it was nice to see a car that does this:

back home without incident this year.  Had a really enjoyable time bumping in to some old faces and meeting some new ones too. Some really great cars too.  Thanks again for organising @inconsistant

I picked some nice roads to drive on the on the way up, primarily the A272, and it took me 2 hours 25 minutes to get there. Went straight back via M25/A3/A31 in an hour and 20 and ten minutes of that was queuing to get off the M25 so a good run in both directions really.

Most of pictures  I took look like the ones already posted but here's just a few more.

The two Favs together. We decided they are supposed to be the same colour.

Richards Tipo Cross. He hid out of the way but  I don't know why. When did you last see another? Probably the rarest car here.

Sitting in the back of the Rolls. Which is where you are supposed to sit obviously.

But I have to say the seats in Chris's Mitsubishi looked very comfy too.

But this was the best interior of all. I've seen these in black and white before but not brown and beige and white. This is great.

 

And lastly I've realised I don't have any pictures of the Xedos, whose was that? I apologise but you were just unlucky to be parked next to two Favorits that were getting all the attention.

Lovely to see this, well done inconsistent for getting a great turnout. 

I could easily see Rob painting 'sod the ULEZ' on the Shad and driving it around Beckenham like he's David Bowie.

Autoshite winner for me has to be the Rolls.  Sitting in the back of that was fab - many thanks.  The Chrysler New Yorker is a close second.

Just realised the box of corgis etc are still in the boot, having been on a nice 70mile trip! Oh well.

i was obviously distracted by the magnificent display. Good to talk to people, sorry I lowered the tone with the modern daily. Hope you all got home safely without incident.

hard to pick a favourite, @Weird Car wins the spirit of autoshite award for shear gung ho attitude, and a devil-may-care 8mpg, @Six-cylinder for practical wafting estate and @Three Speed for his compact two door city car. Where else will you see a brace of favorits sandwiched between a Porsche  924 and bonk the magic wagon ( plus merc, Mazda, Saab).

It was great to see you all today, the turnout was great and it was fantastic to see a lot of the cars that I enjoy reading about on here. Apologies if I seemed distracted due to chasing my son around 😅

The number plate checks out based on the price you mentioned! 😅 I’m so used to seeing my scruffy Lada that I forget how good they look when they’re tidy.

At 21 I got stopped by plod driving one of those cos my dodgy (banned) mate neglected to put the rear plate back on. Tax disc was from something else, so my collar was tugged.

I should have thought about this really and I could have made an appearance before collecting the A55 from @Weird Car! Mind you we were in the boring, yet ultra reliable, Hyundai i10.
