So as some may have read in my Getz for sale ad, I recently received my payout from the insurance company for my written off Fiat 500, so we all know what that means, NEW DAILY TIME!! Currently waiting for a wee Cooper S with @calebaaront behind the wheel to show up then we head off for a 3 hour drive to Bedford to collect said motor and hope this collection thread hasn’t cursed us!

progress to follow

Poo Count currently at 1

I'm in for any thread featuring the word 'getz'! 🤣

That'll be a much smoother ride home even if it takes twice as long.

And here we are, the new daily!

a 1959 Austin A55 Cambridge

shes rather um… patinated to say the least but very solid needing no structural welding, just a small bit of cosmetic welding, she started from cold straight away, a few minor issues to address like fixing the handbrake cable and fitting brighter indicators but over all not too bad!

Not all without trouble

The horrible home made side exit exhaust has fallen off, luckily it made it back to Havant without any problems, wafted along very merrily
