Bought from a garage near Lincoln....they specialise in ageing Gallic nonsense......they have a C6 and an XM gently decaying on the premises

Iirc the 2.2 had a reputation. Buggered if I remember why though. 

Will definitely be watching this progress. 

 

EDIT - just thought - how's the chassis from rear floorpan coming up and around the engine bay?

Friend of mine had one a long time ago. The chap he bought it from was banging on about how cheap it was to insure. When he showed them his insurance documents to prove that he was only paying 40 odd quid a year for comprehensive cover, they spotted that it was actually insured as a 'Marina'.

Unpopular Opinion:

Grand Tour is good entertainment, Carnage a Trois came at a good point during Lockdown and Richard Hammond suited the Matra.

(FWIW I also think Jeremy Clarkson is great, cream goes on a scone before the Jam, Queen are overrated as a band and not enough people have 'Hit and Miss' fencing)
