@sdkrc, meant to say earlier that the Lexus is looking great - so much better than the covered-in-sycamore-mess it was during its stay with me!

It's obviously benefiting from its new tyres too, as @Lacquer Peel and I were maintaining a good pace through Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale.

I've just turned off, Brough, Kirby Stephen and Middleton to go .

I'm still trying to work out who has what. @davehedgehog31 seems to have a Pug (surprise surprise), @loserone has a Xantia, does @sdkrc have the Rover 45? So who's is the Lancia? Assuming the Lexus is a red herring and was used for transport, not a new collection.

big thanks to @Tickman for meeting me at the station this afternoon, and of course mega big thanks for my excellent roffle prize :)

the drive home was uneventful, the little 206 certainly wears its miles well yet still has plenty of oomph when needed, i’ll have a good look round it tomorrow and see what the plan is.

i did find setting the cruise control rather confusing, not surprising as it turns out i was looking at the remote  radio controls !

cheers all

Some absolutely winning cars today. Massively impressive eurodieselhatchback action.
