Evilbay starts stealing final value fees on postage today. Not bad enough that the post office takes 10K a year to lose my parcels, now ebay wants a grand for doing jack shit.

Sons telly packed up t'other day,so we decided to take a trip to big telly shop in romford,Got cash out of bank to get one.

When we got there seems that they dont take feckin cash,debit/credit cards only.

Hadnt got card with us either..

Spent a lovely time after working fishing about in the drain outside that had become blocked (not the poo's one - if it was I'd have locked the house up and moved away).  Turned out to be "sand" washed off the knackered rendering which it's done before but also not helped by a load of snails... some kind of mass suicide or something.

 

 

Will go back to it when the stink has faded off and give it a proper washout with some more Jeyes Fluid and measure up for a better fitting bit of wood to cover it now I have a bench top jigsaw to cut it out better.

Nowt worse than blocked drains.  When I lived in Sheffield the kitchen sink drain seemed to be frog suicide central, the first you'd know about it would be the GODAWFUL stench first thing in the morning when you washed pots/put any water down the drain.  Vile.
