Fuck sake - I've got five records on that I kind of want to sell, but won't, and at the same time I don't want to sell as I can't be fucked posting them after what happened last time...

Is it always cash only or was it just that day? Every so often there's a newspaper article about the coming "cashless society" and I don't like the sound of that at all.

Getting shouted at by the mother for accidentally breaking a plant pot.

It was on a fucking 3-leg stool...

And now, the one time I want to watch a programme on ITV Player, they're that fucking shit, it's the only one not on there.

It's Ade in Adland for anyone wondering.

Thanks for the help!

Also I've got a problem: my problems aren't problems!

Like my mom always used to say: If a problem requires a complicated solution, it's not worth to be solved. Just live with it.

Just want to say a big thanks to the bastard in the white Transit who cut me up badly on a roundabout near Uckfield, Sussex, on Tuesday evening.

Missed him by a fagpaper, but because of him I had to restack some of the load in my trailer.

TWAT.

"Bastard in a white Transit"?  Shouldn't be too hard to find... ;-)

There's nothing futuristic about a cashless society. I, for one, am invariably cashless between the 20th of each month and payday

Spent a lovely time after working fishing about in the drain outside that had become blocked (not the poo's one - if it was I'd have locked the house up and moved away).  Turned out to be "sand" washed off the knackered rendering which it's done before but also not helped by a load of snails... some kind of mass suicide or something. :-?

Will go back to it when the stink has faded off and give it a proper washout with some more Jeyes Fluid and measure up for a better fitting bit of wood to cover it now I have a bench top jigsaw to cut it out better.

Nowt worse than blocked drains.  When I lived in Sheffield the kitchen sink drain seemed to be frog suicide central, the first you'd know about it would be the GODAWFUL stench first thing in the morning when you washed pots/put any water down the drain.  Vile.

Tara, yer bastard. It's going straight to the shredder at the docks apparently, no passing go, no collecting £200. Though it wasn't too far off that!

Wanted: 2 of 185/65 14 tyres and a phase 2/3 306 bonnet in moonstone. A new purchase may be imminent!

Are 185/60/14s any good Chris? Got four here which my son got for his Corsa but they were too big. Can be has for a good price if wanted and all have stacks of tread

Not ideal, Billy, but could be worth a go. If I can't get anything close to home and cheap, I'll give you a shout.

Why the fuck did I post a wanted reply here?

That has made me legitimately* grumpy.

Off to wanted/offered thread.........

I reckon Mr B could earn good* money by setting up in business as a 'Mediation Consultant'

Some of the pointless gas baggery and general bullshit in most of the meetings I have ever had the pleasure** of attending would have been avoided if he had been present.

Now I try not to get involved with politics or posting other forums on here, but feck me Pistonheads is depressing sometimes:

Have all unemployed report at 0830 to do some form of work for the community.

Have a paid manager.

Let them finish at 530pm. They can have help with cv writing and training for 3 hours per day.

If they don't turn up they don't get their vouchers, if they don't take it seriously they don't get vouchers. Vouchers are for food and clothes but not alcohol or cigs etc. prison for people that try to tamper with the system.

Free bus pass for unemployed.

Only when they get less for not working will they want to work.

For mothers they can be housed in a block where qualified careers look after their children between 0830 and 530 if theyre not of school age.

This benefits bill cant continue because theyre dragging the working man down so much that theyre better off than him.

Anyone want to bet this person is on 50k+ a year and wouldn't know what the inside of a Job Centre looked like?

That's basically how eastern bloc societies worked for people 'seeking employment', except they were allowed booze and fags.
