I am genuinely at a point of despair with this country. Things like this website make me angry and sad. Its not just the ignorance, but the spelling and grammar piss me right off too. I went to 2 pretty shit state schools and still manage to string a sentence together. Thick, selfish and shallow people are now the most respected in society. Love the colourcoding.The problem I have with football is that when the world cup comes along, you struggle to escape it, the country goes mad with "footiemania" for a bit and whilst I don't have a problem with people enjoying something they like, I just hate all the stuff that goes along with it.What makes it worse is that the whole culture surrounding it seems to involve people drinking far too much, look at all the supermarket ads encouraging people to get a load of crates of Stella in. Why do you need a crate of Stella to watch a football game? Worst thing is when you get a load of exciteable morons in pubs. Vic's old car lot was opposite a pub and when there was a big game you'd see grown men doing absolutely ridiculous things, smashing hedges up and running into the road, etc. I expect when it's the world cup you need to be sat there at all times just so you don't get all the car roofs jumped on by some tosser who's angry because England done lost on the footbawl innit.

I think the thing that I dislike most about all the ENGLAND stuff you can buy to celebrate the world cup (car flags, inflatable chairs with beer holders etc.) are all just really tacky. Cobbled up in China and just horrible designs with cheapo graphics. See petrol forecourt offers/weekly Netto offers stuffed in the free papers for reference.I'd be quite happy to see a flag attached to a car that had a chrome pole and a flag made out of a good quality material, rather than a plastic pole and crappy polyester stuff that frays. Would obviously cost more but surely if you're bothered enough to show your support, you'd be bothered enough to splash to demonstate your patriotism? You might even end up buying a product made in the UK!Budding Aprentice wannabe's, please feel free to use this idea gratis.

I love football (club over country mind), & I also love the World Cup. I will watch all the England games BUT won't lose too much sleep as & when theye get knocked out. I just like to watch loads of random matches.Saying that, I'm not into the whole euphoria/St George's flags/people (usually women) who otherwise never watch football suddenly getting massively into it. Pisses me right off.
