THANK GOODNESS!  I was beginning to feel like the little boy in The Emperor's New Clothes; am I the only person who can see how shit this stuff is?  Mind you, if by "anything" you dare to offer Adele or Sam Smith, then you and I are going to have ice creams at twenty paces on Easter Sunday!

adele and who?

oh him (googled him) the chubby james bond singist, horrid, just horrid....

what a terrible whiney nasally voice. who thought him recording stuff was a good idea?

as for adele, well i kinda like the melodies, and she at least has a good voice, but its more tolerate her rather than been a fan. so all good for ice creams!!

just like new cars, new music, well musak cos thats what it mostly is, sucks!!

For some reason my shite mojo is at an all time low and I need to get the Saab and XM through MOTs next month. I keep having an urge to get rid of them both and buy a Prius. What's wrong with me!

I'm the same, the Merc hasn't moved (not even started) since October, the trouble is when the weathers nice the roads are that busy with twunts that neither of us wants to go anywhere apart from chucking the dogs in the back of one of the other cars and going for walkies.

I'm definately selling the Merc this spring, its become a bloody expensive garden ornament.

Time to jetwash your garage. And the twat.

Unfortunately I think it's coming from on of the gardens ringed red. We've got an extension in the blue circle

Mine's down too at the moment.  Just Add Fuel on a 2008 is looking awfully tempting at the moment.  I therefore conclude that I'm seriously ill.

Meanwhile, on the Saab front, I've more or less decided to re-Roffle it, probably next month.

My XM just cost me almost what I paid for it at MOT time, bastard thing.

Dealers who leave their car listings on eBay with 'NOW SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD!!!' splashed across the listing.

Feck off and take it down if it's sold.

My shite mojo is above average for the time of year, I make a New Years resolution in Jan, don't get anything done and then say fuck it, but the early spring has helped a bit.

Still got a bad case of can't be arsed but I'm battling it

I thought inflation had stopped but NO, went to the 99p Store in Clacton and they're gone and been taken over by Poundland.

Because it's still -2 in some places, like here in the Lakes this morning, I'd rather they continued salting until temperatures rise a bit if you don't mind.

I don't have any problem with that, it did actually drop below freezing here last night. And I can understand it on the mountain roads, even when the temperatures are a bit warmer. But when the temperatures are well above freezing and the air is dry (not even any condensation on the cars) I really can't understand them gritting every night!

This has been making me grumpy all week. First, the swines have used the 5 spaces closest to the door at Tesco to display* 3 citroen DS3s. Second, £59 a month??? FFS, that's less than my electricity bill!

I'm aware that it's a headline figure, and it's actually £4k down and £59pm for 3 years and hand the car back, but I wonder how many of my former customers wandered into a main dealers based on this sort of advertising and walked out with a £250pm contract and a new car for nothing down instead.

My supervisor at work has a brand new DS3 on PCP. It doesn't need any MOT or tax, gets better mpg than my Civic and costs considerably less than my monthly repair bill.

It did, however, have to be in white (for teh resales), and I'd only settle for purple so fuck it.

Oil price is higher than it's been all year

They made a big song and dance about dropping it but it was just a promotion, promotion now over

Fuel prices have always gone up on budget day, regardless of whether the tax has increased.

The Civic will be practically new once you're done fixing all the problems it's been building up for you!

I think buying cars from down south is the way forward, cars that have lived up here are fucked at quite a young age.

That DS3 is quite tempting if I end up with a job where I provide my own wheels. Although on that sort of deal, are they responsible for major mechanical failure (warranty and/or lease type terms) or the driver?

Just planning ahead, because Citroen.

I've been hearing mutterings about going back to work the day after my mum died. Apparently I'm being disrespectful and should of had at least a fortnight off.

To whom it may concern, I work for the same taxi company my mum drove for. She was happy and well liked by both the passengers and staff alike. When I'm there I'm in a place she loved and amongst people who knew and cared for her. She never liked her house, she only ever considered it as accommodation and I fail to see what it'll achieve staring at her stuff within those four walls.

^^ Do what you feel is right and what yer mum would agree with. Fuck 'em.

On the other hand, if you can put it down to "emotional stress" then you can get away with lamping people who think it's their place to tell you how to feel.

My route to work over the m3 is to be closed at the end of the month until the end of September 2017! They are taking the bridge down. This means an extra mile or so detour for either bike or car. Not sure how dangerous the detour Options are by bike, I'll have to try them out. That will up the commute in from 8.5 to 10 miles by bicycle though, and more or less the same for the car now.

Oh, this will also entail closing the m3 completely for a week. Yes, you heard it here first. No idea when exactly, but in the next few months all m3 traffic in both directions from m25 to camberley ( as they can't be sure the bridge won't fall down ) is to be sent down the a30 for a week ( at least).

And while I'm on the grump page.

1. Git in an Astra who doesn't think that give way to the right applies to bicycles too. Called him a four letter word.

2. 20 seconds later muppet in a Volvo pulls out of a junction on my left without looking right- I saw this and was prepared. He waved an apology, but looking in the first place would be better.

3. A few minutes later some viz fat slag in a mini thought she there was room to overtake me whilst not mounting the kerb on the width restriction on the a30, she was wrong, but in doing so actually hit my pannier bag.

First day back on my bike after 6 weeks post surgery recuperation and I nearly end up back in hospital.

Oh, and I know this isn't the penisbrains website but for information it was 5pm, daylight, and I had a rear lights it, and a bright red jacket. Plus a bright white bike. Idiots in Surrey just don't look.

As a ps. Just today I counted two with no seat belts and three using their phone. All in cars new and posh enough to to have seatbelt warnings and hands free built in.

Not a grump, but met prince Edward on the way down the drive. One of his dogs had lost something in the bushes. I resisted the urge to ask abut his elder brothers gateway mishap.

Grump Over, now off to baron de barbon Rioja consolation.

I would consider that dubious 'pleasure' a grump...  ;)

Over £6k to borrow a DS3 for three years?

Edited due to maths fail. Cheers SoC.

Nobody cares about total paid - the monthly figure is all people worry about.

I remember talking to a guy about his television which is the size of a fucking snooker table that he bought on the nevernever from BrightHouse or somewhere like that.

"its less than 20 quid a week!"

But you will be paying that for decades, the total will be way more than the telly is worth

"so?"

.....yeah. well, if you are happy with it.

"Its AWESOME, and its only 20 quid a week, whats not to like?"
