The grumpy thread

Have you tried buying a Mercedes Coupe? I'm a mental health professional doctor and I prescribe a brown one. Taken immediately.

You won't be able to hear him upstairs for all the FANNY you will be litterally drowning in.

I would possibly be interested as all my medication is free..... 8)

Worth a try..... :-P

Think I'm gonna have to make the most of this thread for the next few weeks as a kind of therapy.

Parked on side of high street with hazards on, got out van got beeped at bumy taxi driver. I told him to fuxk off and dragging him out his taxi and murdering him with my biro crossed my mind. I was angry in Boots and couldn't find my sulphur dead sea soap. So Boots are cunts too.

Breathe

Seem am in a mood today. I'm so clumsy at the minute, keep walking into things, putting it down as weird withdrawl symptom. Just walked into my van

Very, very, very glad that you have done it properly. You might want to consider looking at options such as CBT, via Wellbeing services (used to be called IAPT). You can self-refer or go through your GP. It is the gold standard for treating depression via talking therapies.

Or you could just buy a Shitpeas Mercedes Special.

As a student mental health nurse, trying to expand my knowledge, could I be as bold to suggest that driving to a CBT session in a brown Mercedes would be the beige standard of treating depression, and therefore the ultimate in wellbeing?

Especially if you had your newly purchased second hand Trek mountain bike in the back.

If only we knew someone selling one.

Open plan offices plus noisy, posturing twats (or one in particular) equals great fun.  Not sure how I'm expected to concentrate and work in this environment so fuck it I'm not!

I suffer with Raynauds phenomenonmenonmenon and the last couple of weeks has seen a couple of pretty bad attacks in my feet (odd as it hasn't really been cold yet) and now, I think as a result of this, I have killer* chilblains in my toes. :(

Rob. I work in an open plan office and a lot of us use in ear headphones, in part due to the lady who through no fault of her own sounds like an extremely loud but articulate 8 year old girl. I listen to the radio online (after I dropped my Ipod). Sometimes I just have them in to cancel noise. We Instant Message a lot here, so not as "rude" to others as what it might once have been.

Got those Slappy, although my noise cancelling ones are at home so will bring those in.  The twat in question is so loud I almost told him to the shut the fuck up earlier.  I went out for a stroll and a coffee somewhere quiet instead.

Louise - re the Raynaud's, I get chilblains in the winter if my feet warm up too quickly after being cold, although I'm sure you know that.  They ruddy hurt don't they!

I'm in bloody agony as well (I like to join in with the misery!). Dogs ill again and can barely walk (poor little bugger) so I've had to carry her in and out for a wee for the last two days. As I use a stick (broke my back a while back), this is bloody awkward! Last night she was really bad so I made us all a bed on the front room floor and we all cuddled up on the duvet... well, we got some sleep after 5:00a.m. when she finally settled down.

This morning, she was much better which surprised me somewhat and actually went for a little walk round the block without to much bother, but there was no way I was going to take her out this afternoon. However, the dogs had other ideas.... Normally, the second the doors open Chester is out like a shot and waiting at the car, today, Phoebe (the ill one) is sat behind the locked front door crying and Chester is stood outside the locked front door crying! He would NOT leave - even when the gate and car doors were wide open, he stood at the front door and cried.

So long and short of it, I had to carry her to the car and put her in then Chester deigned to enter himself, I then had to lift her out of the car at the park and let her have a little wander around while Chester went and played, then lift her back in then carry her back into the house when we got home!

Consequently, I am laying on the floor in agony. Fentanyl is not touching it and I fear another night where I then take Morphine and ora-morph and suffer for three days for my stupidity.

I know you'll all think I'm terminally stupid, but they haven't been out for a 'proper' walk for two days and Chester was doing his nut! He had to go out....

Anyway, Physio is coming tomorrow at ten so maybe she'll fix me?

Last week ny elbow hurt so bad I couldn't lift a cup of tea. I ran that off....

Now my left foot seems to have rebroke itself from an old neighbour noise incident. Sometimes it is unbearable to walk on, sometimes it barely hurts. I don't get it.

Anyway. Limp I will.

All a test.

Occasionally I pop on the SD1 Forum and every time without fail there is a slagging match taking place over what Vitesse Twin Plenums should be worth.

Give me a crusty series 1 any day over one of those twin problems plenums any day.

As Boll says, these TP's come up for sale more often than any 2000 or series 1 car.

Saying that, I quite fancy a proper povvo spec 2000 one day.

Sounds like the Maestro and Montego forum then, where most people wank over the MG turbo models, leaving the rest pretty unloved.

This here laptop is 5 years old and fucked. It also has running in a virtual machine a rather vital to the day job piece of bent software. I have failed miserably to transfer said virtual machine to another pc.

But wait! Ebay has an identical 5 years old laptop, but new in box, never used. I can't fail to be able to transfer to that, it's the same hardware n everything.

Looks like I've bought another laptop for the fun of it then....

Sigmund Cox the 740 has been running more and more grumpy of late. An effort has been made to cure this, which has shown that the exhaust blow is caused by the centre box being the wrong way up; this should be remedied by the weekend.

Now that it knows I've solved that issue, the gear inhibitor looks to be on it's way out, theres a duff connection at the starter and the sunroof has started leaking.

Sound like you've seriously upset the Shite Balance there.  Only solution is to purchase another car.
