Eating kebab meat late at night is a bloody stupid thing to have done as now I feel quite ill.

It's going to be a long night...

On the rare occasion I eat it, I always end up with kebab meat remorse!

Chuck it straight down the bog, and save your guts the bother.

I had a kebab last night, was lovely!

Give it time...

Just been to the loo, good job Amy's gone shopping, but it was satisfying and not painful so I'd consider it a win!

Kebabs are FOR WINNARS. I love unspecified spicy meat product though and it never really affects me. The only thing that does is sprouts and eggs, which ia unfortunate for SWMBO as I love both.

Salt in chocolate and salted caramel.

I truely believe this is the emperor's new clothes phenomenon in action. It's utterly vile and spoils perfectly nice sweets but people are too scared to say anything now for fear of appearing common, too common for TV chefs and the Bake Off.

Chocolate: sweet. Caramel: sweet. Salt: savoury.

Either that or I'm not posh enough or cool enough.

Yak.

I'm afraid I won't be pursing the car further because of the V5C issue. I have been through this scenario before and yes it should be simple but it wasn't and it ended up in a lot of stress and returning the car to its original spec. Shame really as I have been interested in toledo/dolomites for a long time and I do like "Q" cars. Anyway good luck with the sale.

V5 issue? I just need to inform the DVLA and provide a letter or receipt right?

Oh well that is just bloody marvellous.

Posted

Rubbish ! As long as the car is on the DVLA database, a V62 and £25 is all you need.

Yeap sounds like he is just making up excuses for how he hasn't got any money and is a time wasting twat. I have registered 2 highly modified cars brought over from France with no trouble at all so a different engine in a uk registered car is not a problem.

Hmm, I might just do it myself and see what transpires. Cheers  :-D

I am entirely with you. People should stop mucking about with chocolate. It was fine as it was! The milky kind anyway.

I hated the sound of salted caramel until last year when we were in France and the only caramel ice cream on the menu was the salted variety. The waitress persuaded me to try it, and I fully expected to hate it but it was soooo nice. Maybe tinted by holiday rose tinted glasses, and the fact that all food tastes better in France, but I'd give it another go!

Andrea de Cesaris, F1 driver from the seventies through to the nineties has died in a motorbike crash aged 56. This makes me sad.

He never quite won a race, came close a couple of times and had a terrible rep for crashing. In his later career he calmed down and turned in some fantastically quick and smooth drives in all sorts of machinery.

In 1991 he nearly won the Belgian Grand Prix - running second and catching Senna, his engine gave out but that was a class drive. RIP ADC

You can get chocolate with Ritz biscuits in (salted), it's really horrible.

It's like mixing acid and alkali together.

A large invoice was due for payment today, but has somehow gone adrift. That is rather annoying. I was hoping to be almost wealthy today instead of wondering how I'm going to make it to the end of the month again. Sigh. EDIT - should get it paid next week. That's not so bad.
