Mother fucking twat!

Went for a job interview on Friday that I thought went really well. It was related to my last job and I'd done a lot of the things they were asking for.

Of course the rejection letter turns up today......

I'm going to get feedback but what the fuck do you have to do to get a job?

I don't know what it is. Society is becoming less and less tolerant now of normal things like deliveries, traffic jams, hold-ups in thier day etc... Common sense has all but been eroded from much of society and replaced with almost impossible expectations of others. This therefore creates stress and anxiety on both parts, the customer doesn't get the service they expect and the staff can't deliver the service fast enough. People expect more, to be delivered faster and not "talking" whilst doing it.

It's almost like the the class system in work which does exist in many places still. It also still exists in geberal society, everybody is fighting to be at the top, to be the person at "the top" who has the "right" to expect exceptional service delivered to them at thier beck and call, acting like highly regarded celebrities/kings/queens. Such a shame, but as a bystander, it can be quite fascinating to watch these people try and get through life.

I think whats needed is another world war 2 where half the menfolk get killed, people lose their homes and their kids have to be sent away for years. its the only way to give people a bit of context about the delivery driver partially blocking the road for 15 mins.

It's the heat, humidity, added to the constant stress of more & more people on the same, tired infrastructure.

The roads can't cope, the rail can't cope, everything is too expensive, it's all too crowded.

T'aint going to get better folks, least ways not till it cools a little. And that's only a marginal improvement

First world grump...

Agreed to drive a mates MR2 down to the Silverstone Classic later this week, so he could take his camper. He dropped it off Sunday & I checked it over just now... no DAB radio & no AUX socket!!! Worse still, the FM reception appears to be rubbish in it so my choices seem to be the drone of Radio 1 or the drone of a magnex exhaust for 4 hours.

Bah!

On the plus side, I found the sunroof cover so if its sunny I wont run the risk of burning the top of my head!!

I'm not sure what's more depressing - that this is more or less right or that these exact sentiments have appeared as paid columns in the Daily Fail on more than one occasion.

Also, HMRC. Again.

Please explain to me how a £25 Mazdaspeed oil cap from Japan incurs £20.15 in charges? That's my fucking profit right out of the window, cheers.

Crack on, lads. While you're there, can you explain why my self assessment rebate (which you still won't admit you got wrong) is taking so long? I'd love to earn money doing absolutely sod all. It must be like working for the council or being a land lord. It must be lovely.

Soon as you like, like.

Agree with everyone above... sadly :(

My grump is: I can feel my left leg. For the last three years it has been as dead as a Dodo - still sort of works, just no feeling in it at all. About a week ago I stated to fell throbbing interspersed with chronic itching and it's just got worse and worse. Now it just HURTS everywhere from hip to toes.

Doesn't bloody work any better though :(

SO the local kids decided that playing tennis with stones would be a great way to spend a summer's evening. This was the result

Mother has promised ot pay for the repair, but I still need to get to work tomorrow

I saw a kid throw some stones near the cars outside a few months back, Boy did I lose it, fortunately I was on the first floor so they ran before I could get down stairs. Not seen them hang around since but in that split second I was more than up for lobbing a handful of stones at them so hard my right arm probably would of flown off.

Fucked my back tonight mopping the floor in the kitchen, no sudden movements just doing a bit of cleaning.

Left on the kitchen floor for about 2 hours before I could bear to try to move, the sciatica is excruciating and stopping me from sleeping even over the prescription codeine tablets left over from the last time, looks like I'll be off work tomorrow and I'm already on a attendance report after loads of time off with it last year, so much paperwork and dire warnings when I get back to work.

They get the fucking hump with me because no one in my department can do the work I do as quickly or as consistently as I can, well maybe they should try hiring someone who can use a fucking paintbrush and a pair of scissors with out a weeks training instead of getting uni doctorates on excessive wages who can barely make a coffee without a weeks research.

One of them has a Law degree and a Doctorate in aeronautics and matierial testing but got confused in the canteen the other day and asked the girls if they could explain the difference between brown and white bread.........

Aye I'm limited to lifting 5kg only at work as it's a chronic complaint, should be in the grin section this but I'm a lot better today after loads of heat and Solpadol, hopeful of going back in tomorrow even if i spend most of the day on my back on the office floor typing on a Tablet.

Had the equivalent of a couple of months off last year over 6 months or so, kept trying to get in for even a few hours a day even though I was barely able to walk sometimes, my managers appreciated it but the HR department just sees the number of absence events instead of the effort I made just to get some work done.

I should have taken the offer of my Doctors 3 months signed off till my Cadural Epidural but I knew that would leave work in the shit so I made the effort to get something done at work, which has left me at the point where I may lose my job over it.

The bad news is, she'll do this a whole lot more after she's been re-programmed on a speed awareness course.

I think if you've been driving a few years and have a clean record then get caught speeding, you should get a "you've been caught, watch it" letter then a fine and points after that. I wouldn't want the points but don't think I could do the BS course either, getting told about the dangers when it could just be a one off mistake.

Been watching that 'nightmare landlords/slum tenants' thing on telly.

Those absolute fucking pond life wankers who squatted in and then wrecked that charity's place in London are just beyond scum. I hope when there's no cameras about that the bailiffs give twats like this the shoeing of a lifetime.

My ex landlord who was a bloody great bloke and a good friend - had similar gene pool escapee's wreck one of his apartments and despite court judgements refused to budge from the place.

He decided, out I imagine desperation, to make use of a bunch of travellers who had camped in a field a few hundred yards away. I lived two doors away at the time, and he asked me to pop out for an hour and gave me 20 quid beer money. came back a few hours later - said apartment was empty ....Never asked nor was told what happened and I happy being ignorant ........

what the fuck do you have to do to get a job?

Self employment FTW.

Start by offering a service (zero start-up costs) and sell yourself. Talk to people.

Grin:

Good to see SOC back, and Autofive.

Tony Blair and Peter Mandleson - enough to make you reach for the paracetamol and razors.

Cheeky twats - labour mus'nt veer to the left or they will be in the Wildeness they say in the press.

Thanks to you cunts they already are - your quest to appease the capitalists of this world and in the process selling the electorate down the river has finished Labour. Pity the electorate did'nt all have surnames like "Bush" or "Murdoch" - you'd have fucking listened then wouldn't you you pair of cunts?

FOAD you odious pair of shysters. Sorry for the swearing chaps but their hypocrisy kills me.

That's pretty much exactly what I'd do, to be honest. Bollocks to their 'rights' to live there scott free or wreck the place, just turn up with the heavy mob and turf them out.

Its amazing to think 3 months ago Labour were just about leading the polls, now they look dried up.

Its only Ã‚£3 to become a member of the Labour party, and that gives you the right to vote for their potential new leader Jeremy Corbyn. Guess what loads of Tories are doing this week

22/07/2015 was not a good day;

06.40 on the way back from Heathrow a stone thrown up by a lorry hits the screen of my 5 Series, crack appears across the top left hand corner- bollocks!

11.00 go to Bedford to look at Mini Cooper, 2004, 160,000 miles so not expecting concours- but....post-17414-0-32705100-1437660412_thumb.jpg

Well maintained, apparently. At least the dipstick was nice and clean, the test drive lasted 200 yds, I stopped and reversed back onto Private* sellers drive when the gearbox whined so loudly that some of the local giffers took to the Anderson shelters. Note to self and daughter, can't afford a Mini, wait another 12 months.

19.00- give up a job and forsake going to Harpenden for the first time in 10 years to go to Leicester to look at ' One owner FDSH 206 CC' arrive to be greeted by tyre blacked shit heap with filler and sanding marks under fresh paint down the entire nearside( which is parked tight against a wall, natch) seller suddenly remembers he hasn't owned it from new but bought it 6 weeks ago for his wife, but it's to big/ little etc.Mega pissed off head home.

20.03. Cam chain snaps in roadworks near Rugby, wait 45 mins for free recovery to services another 1 1/2 hrs for RAC to take home. Plenty of time to search web for secondhand engine- £1795 cheapest I can find or £2200 supplied and fitted by dodgy sounding place in Essex.

23.00 arrive home open post, £100 parking penalty from Parking Eye- for Southampton dock parking last week- a job that I got £150 for less £30 diesel and £6.99 breakfast= 6 hours of my Sunday for £13.01 wages, oh well at least I made something that day.

Oh bad day all round

What is the next step for the BMW then? What about work?

Posted

The BMW is at a local Independant specialist waiting for him to have a look later today. The good news is,he thinks the engine might be salvageable because it stopped straightaway, fingers crossed.

As for work, it goes quiet in school holidays anyway as most of my work is business travellers but it's a bit of a double whammy when you have a breakdown, no income and big bills !

Luckily some of my work is driving customers in their own cars, at the moment I'm sitting in London in a clients LWB Range Rover and I've left the ex-FathaAngryDicky Rover 600 on the raked gravel outside his £10million gaff. Stay classy!

got away from work at 1pm today, and a straight run home without any hold ups.

so why a grump?

my gaffer says i'm not allowed to fuck off early, not unless i take a 1/2 days holiday, cos apparently it upsets the natural rhythm of the drawing office, or some other such shit.

more likely someone has been whinging at my boss (and i can guess which little twat it was too)about me going early in spite of the fact that i live 145 miles away from the office and don't see home during the week.and the traffic later on in a friday afternoon on the M1 is friggin' terrible later in the afternoon.

i did the god damn hours needed, and all i want to do is get home, not sit on a jam for 3 fucking hours.

i should tell 'em to shove the job up their collective arses and get a job stacking shelves at asda's. at least i'll be at home more.

wankers.
