I was planning on wrapping the veg oil powered 106 in newspaper tomorrow night for the full fish 'n' chips effect, as a bit of a laugh with a couple of mates as it is basically worthless and I am pretty damn certain I am going to be the last owner.

I was going to get one of each of the daily news papers today, one for each panel. And then Margret Thatcher died.

I obviously will not be wrapping my car in massive images of her face. I know that every unionist, labor voter, Scotsman and ex miner would drag me out the car and beat the shit out of me every time I pull up at traffic lights.

Just been given notice on my shite storage facility - landlord is selling up. Cuntsticks. Where else am I going to find storage for five cars, a boat and two mopeds for a tenner a week?

Xantia collection mission cancelled after the owner reported (5 minutes before I was going to leave to get it) that it won't start. He's had earth strap replaced (for some reason) but looks like it needs a battery or something else possibly? He's going to fit a new battery tomorrow and see what happens. I still fancy it but what I don't need is another NON running car. He says he'll give me my deposit back if I don't want it anymore.

Is this a sign??

It could be an imminent sign of impending doom, or it could be a blessing that its happened now and not only has someone copped the expense instead of you, but also it's one less hassle for you.

Tricky one. I would advise bravery and just go for it, but look where that got me with the Merc! Hopefully I have now sourced a replacement temp sender for it, but in case you hadn't noticed CARPARTS4LESS make absolute rubbish seem actually quite good. There's a review for you.

Aye, I knew I'd have to move out eventually - got nearly ten years out of it though. I would have suggested the possibility of me buying that bit of land, but unfortunately he's already accepted an offer on the whole property including the bit I rented.

I did think of you DW when he called given your expert knackered car recovery skillz. The car is cheap but I bought it as a cheap old shitter to blast around in not another lump of conked out shite to stare out the window at. Ho hum.

In other news I wrestled the starter off the sd1 and wanged the jump leads on it and it worked perfectly. I'm hoping its just a bad earth.

Why do the fuckwits at eBay think I cannot spell?

0 results found for ruardean, so we searched for guardian

Just tell me there's fuck all results and stop wasting my bandwidth with your useless suggestions!

This v6 Xantia I was set to buy has lived up to it's French reputation by conking out even before I picked it up probably saving me a shit load of ball ache. Turns out it's got a knackered alternator and given how tightly packed in the motor is I recon you'll need to remove an engine mount to even have a slight chance of getting into it plus I don't recon a 3.0 v6 Xantia starter is going to be available from my local scrappy. I'm getting my deposit back so all ends well other than I don't have a v6 Xantia to scream around in.

Will I take 1/3rd off the price of my fishtank (full of fish and plants etc) and drive on a 50-60 mile round trip to meet someone?

Oh aye, yeah. I'm full of fucking tricks like that. Later on I'll put the whole bastarding thing on a skateboard and pull it up the entire length if the M53 whilst whistling the Dambusters tube out of my not inconsiderable arse.

Couldn't agree more. If I advertise something for sale, the price I want for it is the price in the advert. How hard is this to understand?

I used to get this at my recording studio quite a lot [this conversation happened with depressing regularity].

Them : How much is it an hour? £20?

Me: No, £35.

Them : £20?

Me: No, £35.

Them: Oh, well, I'm sure Studio BLAH BLAH is £20 an hour, that's much better.

Me: No, Studio BLAH BLAH is £67 an hour, I checked.

Them: So you're how much an hour?

Me: £35.

Them: Not £20?

Me: No......

Anyway, an eBay grump. Someone's hacked my account again, and placed a £3k bid on a radio studio mixer. This sure as hell wasn't me, although it's eerie in a sense because it's something I'd plausibly buy given the money (which I definitely don't have). When I was looking for a replacement TV in the New Year, someone bid on a shit 28" flatscreen in a scummy part of Manchester on NYE. It's like these scumbags are trying to act like me in terms of purchases.

Changed all the logins and passwords that matter, I'm just glad I spotted the damn thing. 'I' was the winning bidder with a day to go.......

I'm getting less and less keen on using eBay now for purchases over £50. A shame, because despite its outrageous fees and steadily multiplying amounts of fuckwit users, it is a useful resource.

You're not using any snipeing software are you wat? I'm not sure they're all that carefull with your e-bay credentials. The only one and only time I was hacked on ebay the only other place I had my details was on a snipeing website.

I don't use it anymore.

Sadly not Canpbell, we've upgraded since then. Typically the tank I have recently bought is too big for her highness so has to go. I think it's a 130 litre job.

I do use snipe software, yeah. Changed my logins on it along with my eBay and paypal passwords.

I think that by putting your ebay user and password into another bit of software you're relying on them and not just ebay or you to secure it. If they get hacked or someone decided to have a peek in the database then it's possible they could get your details.

Bugger # 1

Got a message back from the seller of the desk, he's getting quite stroppy and says that if I bid again he'll hold me to it legally. Thanks, mysterious bidder twat.

However, it appears said h@xx0r has put a shipping address in my list book! Isn't that nice!

Not looking good on the 'Come to Cumbria on Sunday and drive round' front. I haven't been keeping up to date with Autoshite since it turned in a Citroen BX love-in, and as a result didn't get enough time to arrange cover at work. I'll keep trying, but I'm not hopeful.

as long as you got good money for the tiddler tanks, I'm happy! ;-)

Don't worry, I don't want them back - lol

Genuinely gave them away mate, both went to good homes I promise.

Pissing exhaust has just gone on the estate. Starting to sound tank-ish now, hoping its just the backbox.

Billy, that's all I care about -and if you'd made something I wouldn't be bothered! ;-)

Why is the only cough medicine in the house suitable for toddlers but does nothing for the terrible cough I'm suffering with.

On the positive side it is apple flavoured so that's a bonus.

They do Whisky for kids now? Wow.... Junior Alcohol. "Go on Kids, have a wee dram, it'll do ye no harm" said no old Scotsman, ever.

I'd avoid apple flavoured whisky, but the proper stuff is good for what ails you.

Can only sleep 3 hours a night recently. Got 3 voices in my head. A right sarchastic bastard, a negative, miserable c**t and someone who tries but fails to keep the other two under control. If I could just sleep that would be something
