What the fuck where both my uncle and dad thinking when they took the belt off my aunts fiesta ?

Neither of them know the square root of fuck all about cars, but then after changing the water pump had they only noticed "Shit we made no timing marks" ... anyway i am reliably told that they tried a number of ways, and guess what !?

THATS RIGHT ! > They didn't turn the engine over by hand, OOOH NO , smashed that key right round, apparently it made quite the racket.

Now this leaves me in a tough situation, either i step in and say i'll lend a hand, or do i let my uncle foot a bill of ass raping proportion and learn his lesson ?

DA UNIT WIRRAL EDITION

What in the world goes through some peoples minds i will never know, give some jumped up tosser a hi-vis with "SECURITY" on the back and it all goes to his head, also take your little friend Brian with you . Cunt.

3)

LANDLORDIE DA UNIT

No haired, short, angry little prick - Never wants to fix anything, but will happily take our money.

We can't just piss off either, as all local places are atleast +£300 on top of what we already pay.

4)

Lada Riva

Twatting thing refuses to play 'ball' . so out with the complete wiring loom tomorrow. - Anyone know a great place to buy plugs, sockest and clips (along with wire) to re-make the pile of crap ?

Sorry for all the swearing, but i'm so close to fucking everything up and telling number 3 and 4 what we all think of them... which would result in myself, Warren T and Station loosing DA UNIT

I bought a complete Lucas Uniloom for my A40 from Premier Wiring; should be able to find that from a google search, or possibly ebay search. Find them, phone them up, and I'm quite sure they will be able to make you something suitable. Autosparks get good reviews too for the same reasons.

I'm not really sure whether this is a grin or grump butnits got to go somewhere. This morning I was in bed browsing this site when I heard Ma_Sterling shriek, it was inly slight so I thought she'd just dropped something or nearly tripped up or whatever so didn't think nothing of it. Then, Sis_Sterling called me on my mobile, she was only downstairs so it was a little strange, it turns out that some bloody homing pigeon had got into the kitchen, Sis took refuge in the bathroom and Ma in the back garden. Muggins here had shoo the blasted thing out.

What a farce :?

Also, the Micra wouldn't start today, I was in Worcester away from the car when Ma text me to say it wasn't starting, she thought she'd flooded the engine. I arrived home and the Micra was gone so I went and hid more car bits in the loft. When Ma arrived home she'd told me about the oil light coming on, but when she finally got the car started it eventually went out. There was a very small amount of white smoke coming from the back so I'm a little worried about this as they usually are robust engines.

I'm guessing the Micra is just burning excess oil due to flooding?

I spend two weeks chasing up a job opportunity and trying to organise an interview. Two weeks calling back when asked, speaking to what I'm told are the relevant people and today? "Oh, yeah, all those vacancies are gone, there's nothing left". Gee thanks. Not the first time that's been thrown at me lately either. Am I unemployable or something? I can start immediately, am flexible towards hours and days, have my own transport and a wide variety of experience and am willing and able to do any job. You'd think they'd be falling over themselves to employ me but no, I'm somehow unemployable now.

Oh, and the Council have decided the nearly £100 debt that was cleared at least a month ago is actually still owed and their debt collection team are after me for it. This is a fucking joke.

Do you have that in writing, VA?

Possibly, the left hand and the right are not communicating. Check first.

The slang word "bare" fucks me off more than any other word, EVEN "pump".

Seconded, if people are going to start political arguments it's just going to turn into a pillow fight. If you want to argue with people you haven't met and never will, about shit that doesn't matter go on youtube like everyone else.

Having to realise that the PTSD is pretty much a lifelong ailment that i have to learn how to live with..there is no magic wand cure..u cannot change the past..my first CBT session was extremely harrowing..having to detail moments and days of extremely nasty events in my life..murder..suicide..car accidents...left my head literally spinning...but i had to obviously expell these necessary details so my therapist knows which path to take me...altho im in great comfort here in the Highlands..im pretty isolated...and not having Merc at my disposal...and trying to convince Mother to go off the beaten track so i can search for rotten shite...not much seen apart from a disintegrating Sherpa..i seem to have developed permanent separation anxiety where i really miss my sidekick and hound in NZ..my melbourne crew who are extraordinarily funny and talented...but it is quite sweet being back here in the Highlands...chatting with the lads on the Corran ferry who i went to primary school with...i feel ok for a bit....then sink for part of the day...its all waves and troughs...but i will get better..

Go Rab, having had some counselling previously (although not as hardcore as yours) I know how painful it can be to drag shit up and relive it all. But, as you say, it's the only way to get stuff out sometimes, and ultimately recover to a extent where life seems ok again.

Good luck with everything.

OK, am I being unreasonable with this eBay seller?

He still hasn't sent this steering wheel I bought nearly three weeks ago. I tried to collect it in person but a massive traffic jam on the M6 put paid to that. I apologised profusely and sent enough money to cover his postage and fuel costs.

I've been chasing him for it and received no reply. I want the bloody thing now, someone's interested in it. Can I batter him for an item not received warning to jog his memory? I'm in a much stronger position than he is.

Ebay - buyers paradise, sellers nightmare.

At the very bottom line you can neg him if nothing else.

Oh no, I want this steering wheel. I'm seriously thinking of hitting the 'item not received' button if I don't hear from him tonight.

Sent him a message threatening an eBay chargeback. He appears to have moved from St Helen's to Staffordshire, and he's definitely around as he was sending stuff on the 5th, so I'm not accepting the 'I've just moved' excuse to be honest.

Fucking Job Centre...

Had my "Jobseekers" meeting Monday... Got bollocked for not doing a lot of stuff and now told i have to journey 10-12 miles to the local library to use the internet computers there as my PC won't let me on the shitty orange Direct.Gov website... No idea why the old green and purple one was decommissioned but last time i was job hunting, it was amazingly good to use. Now it's a pile of wank, and they want me to use it so they can see jobs I view and don't apply for. The main reason i don't apply for jobs on the job centre pages is because you have to ring a bloody 0845 number in the first place to then get the postal address of the spineless company who wont be named, then buy a stamp on top!

All this on £55 a fucking week. Great. NOT!

Rant

Fucking

I was planning on wrapping the veg oil powered 106 in newspaper tomorrow night for the full fish 'n' chips effect, as a bit of a laugh with a couple of mates as it is basically worthless and I am pretty damn certain I am going to be the last owner.

I was going to get one of each of the daily news papers today, one for each panel. And then Margret Thatcher died.

I obviously will not be wrapping my car in massive images of her face. I know that every unionist, labor voter, Scotsman and ex miner would drag me out the car and beat the shit out of me every time I pull up at traffic lights.

Just been given notice on my shite storage facility - landlord is selling up. Cuntsticks. Where else am I going to find storage for five cars, a boat and two mopeds for a tenner a week?

Xantia collection mission cancelled after the owner reported (5 minutes before I was going to leave to get it) that it won't start. He's had earth strap replaced (for some reason) but looks like it needs a battery or something else possibly? He's going to fit a new battery tomorrow and see what happens. I still fancy it but what I don't need is another NON running car. He says he'll give me my deposit back if I don't want it anymore.

Is this a sign??

It could be an imminent sign of impending doom, or it could be a blessing that its happened now and not only has someone copped the expense instead of you, but also it's one less hassle for you.

Tricky one. I would advise bravery and just go for it, but look where that got me with the Merc! Hopefully I have now sourced a replacement temp sender for it, but in case you hadn't noticed CARPARTS4LESS make absolute rubbish seem actually quite good. There's a review for you.

Aye, I knew I'd have to move out eventually - got nearly ten years out of it though. I would have suggested the possibility of me buying that bit of land, but unfortunately he's already accepted an offer on the whole property including the bit I rented.

I did think of you DW when he called given your expert knackered car recovery skillz. The car is cheap but I bought it as a cheap old shitter to blast around in not another lump of conked out shite to stare out the window at. Ho hum.

In other news I wrestled the starter off the sd1 and wanged the jump leads on it and it worked perfectly. I'm hoping its just a bad earth.
