Gorilla glue is good.

What IS tiresome is people believing they have the right to force their opinions on the harmless activities of others by attempting to dictate how they express themselves.  Maybe this could be the year THAT finally stops.

"Please"?

Reminds me of this:

Seconded. All their range of stuff is pretty good I've found. The tape is strong and doesn't give up in the heat like a lot of duct tapes seem to.

Our gorilla is good as new now.

I shall let Chester zoo know!

Been a decades long fan of this stuff, introduced to it by my Dad when I was a kid.

I recall the introduction of Araldite Rapid a good few years ago, same stuff just set faster.

Been in a Red and White tube for as long as I can remember.

Went out to get some the other day, can't get it. There is now Araldite for plastic, Araldite for Ceramic and Araldite for Metal. I wanted the metal stuff but they aware our of stock of it. That's the bloody problem Ennis, years ago all they had to stock was one variety, now they have to stock all types.

Sometimes I just wish they wouldn't fook around with stuff

Go to a model aircraft shop. You can get big tubes of epoxy resin (what aradite is, without the tradename) for a lot less than the tiny little tubes of aradite you get now. Also superglue in all different thicknesses, superglue activator (makes superglue set instantly) and all sorts of other glues for metal/fabric/plastic/etc.

Im getting real tired of the current trend of towing an invisible 40 foot trailer everywhere.......At least I assume thats why normal sized cars now have to slow right down and swing out wide on corners and junctions?

^ Sunday afternoon in France ? That's normal, everybody's pissed.

It'll be even worse today coz it's raining and everybody knows Les Flics don't like getting wet.

Easier to do one-handed, so saves putting your coffee/snickers/sandwich/Stella down.

Re: tit in 2012 Ibiza -

The left hand lane takes you LEFT to Thorpe Road only. It's written on the road in paint. Read and comprehend.

Regardless of what you think, trying to force your way into the middle lane as I pull away to go straight on - while standing on your horn screaming abuse at me - is really stupid.

That's why I stopped in front of you while you ranted and raved. I am perfectly within my rights to pull away from the junction to go straight on and ignore you, because you're IN THE WRONG LANE. I'M NOT GOING TO BE CHECKING MY LHS BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE.

Get a fucking clue, and find some manners. Cheers.

Coren is a cunt so I'd expect this article to be as distorted as all his other drivel. This champion of state education has his own kids done privately.

If anyone here has been threatened by a vegan I'll bare my arse in Woolworths Heron.

Someone trying to play me over service history on a £170 car, who (via various small steps) is working his way to a shit offer.

I’ll send him a picture of it when the yard come in the week.

Seems my friends dodgy Asian neighbours (drug dealers?) don’t like me visiting my friends in the Volvo. Stopped by briefly then ran to the shop and a C class is inexplicably parked in the middle of the dead end street. When I came back it’d gone, they pulled up next to me and said ‘disabled parking’ my arse it is. I moved my car then they immediately left again. Parked in another street, they drove past on their way off sounding the horn as they did.

Considering the whole street seems to be a funny farm with regular domestics and possibly mild vandalism, I’ll be leaving the car elsewhere if I drive here in future.

Am a bit worried that I'm on the way to kippering the engine in my Fiesta ('03,1.4). Developed a misfire in cyl 2 on the way home from work on Tuesday, first day of using it after all of the wet over Christmas. I suspected the coil pack at first because they all do that and when I lifted the bonnet up there seemed to be some wet around.

I've never been confident of tinkering with items that particularly make my car either go or stop, but on the advice of my new, seemingly tame, local mobile mechanic, he suggested swapping over the plugs and leads between 2 and 3. So today I got the rocker cover off, took off the HT leads and was pleasantly* surprised to find "rusty" rubber and a load of water down around the spark plugs.

So I've tried to get as much water out as possible, no idea if dangling some kitchen roll in and using capillary action was a good idea or not, we'll have to see.

Balls....

Isn't normally due to water dripping off the washer jets on those?

Yep, Ford added a rubber gasket to later jets to try and alleviate that, I've got some OEM parts thinking/hoping that it was a the coil pack that had borked, which would be a fairly simple fix.

Yes, some fresh plugs, damp start sprayed on the leads/coil and some sealant around the washers and you'll be fine.

Yep. It then rots the core plugs which also leak coolant out onto the plugs

My sister has one, a 54 plate 1.25 which does the exact same thing.

It still does it even after sealing the leaky bit. Every now and then it'll start mis firing or idling rough and you know then it needs emptying!

The cars a right nail though so she's just going to run it until it's totally fucked. It's not worth spending much on it really so fine by me!

Well you fucking well needn't send 'em down here to learn.

Eh?

Agreed.

Although if chaseracer's comment gains global traction I'm sure the owners of Jyllands Posten and the survivors of Charlie Hebdo will be pleased.

Service history? He's having a laugh. Some people really aren't cut out for buying cheap cars.
