Shite travelling at its finest (possibly getting a ban now)

Well.... I could have posted a collection thread, but I only travelled a dozen miles to collect. Added to that..... these are very definitely a "scene" vehicle... in fact they're iconic.

Yes I know that autoshite holy grail is the proton satria and skoda felicia... but this has been on the bucket list for decades.

That's an actual classic... Let me guess, it's a rust bucket?

Maybe we could aim sonic weapons at the sky and ... No wait, VW did that.

I used to drive the pickup version as a work truck.  My subsequent lack of love for Dubs is now totally logical.  Still, if it's what you wanted, then good luck to you.  Preserving any vehicle is the right thing to do, and it always should be something you like.

It’s ok, I once owned a 1971 beetle. We all have our crosses to bear.

Before I bought my first Dyane, I seriously considered a 1302S of similar vintage.  How different things might have been...

Lovely:)

What conversion is it? And what engine?

It's a proper Devon, type 4 1670 twin port with twin 40s

Oooft!

We had a 1600 Devon when I were a pup. £900 it cost.

Loved it!

Imagine the 1670 + twin 40s has a bit more pep than a stock 1600 twinport

Very nice indeed. Well wear man and enjoy it! It seems to me that there will be a lot of staycations for the next long while, you’ve got the perfect getaway vehicle for holliers now!

I like that, always fancied a bay window, just prefer the look. Looks in decent condition too, nice one!

Looks grand chap, I like a standard bay window. I have the Lego model of the split screen and it's great fun to play with!

I like that, because it’s so rare to see a nice stock one.

Please don’t make it ‘individual’, i.e. identical to every other one.

Noisier than a TU 95. Handling like a new born foal. Slower than continental drift.

Well done.

Nice, but for God's sake get some bumper bolt caps on it.
