To quote myself, I've just realised this is a Mulsanne 'S' which means...

The Mulsanne S was introduced in 1987. Although this model lacked its turbocharger, many of its other details were similar to the Turbo R, including that car's alloy wheels and interior, and the suspension was firmed up for a more sporting ride. The rectangular headlamps from the 1980s gave way to quad round units for 1989, and the model was produced until 1992.

It also has a bit more power and less than 1000 were made.

Please someone buy that before we see it appear on this thread yet again.

Alright Lord Snooty, keep your hair on.

Maybe this Buzby Yellow one will keep you happy? £850 so far and it's in Swansea, which I hear is lovely*.

Selling my Ford Capri 1.3L mk3 1980. Its Highland Green with 2.8i interior.
2.8 front struts coiled over with roller top mounts.
Gas rear adjustable shocks.
2.8 front brakes with groved discs. Have a 2ltr pinto 205 block all running. Little bit of oil burning tho.

Moted and tax exempt. Lots of spares that come with it. It runs drives and stops so can be driven away and used. As can see with the photos it not rot free but soiled in the right places.

Still £5,500...

Question is how much effort vs electric wizardry is needed to make it a daily.

I suspect seller was paid to remove it or paid a lowball scrap price for it.

Depending on how “desperate “ he is to move it on the price could be interesting.

I like its modern ugly shape, especially the rear glass.
Interior looks both comfortable and clean.

Yeah, 500 quid might be more appropriate. There is nothing special about an Acclaim, just lower end everyday transportation. At least parts should be fairly easy to get still.

& Still the most unsort after spec, not even a good shell in it's favour.

But it is "soiled in the right places" according to the seller's description!

Trouble is, it's not original either.  1.3 engine but interior from a 2.8i.  What's the point of that?  The small number of people who would actually want a 1.3 Capri (probably all on here!) would surely want it original.
