Back in sixth form 1986/7 a young female in my form class had one of these in that metallic green colour.

Can confirm, that despite being 4 stone lighter at the time, there was limited room in there for "friendliness".

(The handbrake nearly went up my arse)

You do realise that makes you sound like you were her teacher !!

No shit, sherlock. I might have been interested if it wasn't in a foreign country.

This could be a bargain. Lincoln Town Car. Advisory-free MOT to April 2024. Ad seems to suggest the air con works. £3650

Decent price indeed, not sure if the clear coat on the bonnet is a bit ruined?

Also those retrofit taillights are a crime to humanity. Why would anyone do this, there are plenty more elegant ways of adding rear fog lights and amber indicators without ruining the bumper.

They did  a fairly decent job with the EU spec Town Cars imo. I am not sure how hard the EU only parts are to come by, but I'd try switching for these units if amber blinkers are needed.

Yeah, I didn't know that there was an official EU version for a long time, I think they only really sold these in the Netherlands and Switzerland maybe. But it would be an option. Like most EU US imports these parts will be unobtainium unless you happen to come across a breakers yard that happens to have one in.

that seems very cheap for an MOTd V6

Suspiciously so i would say. As an ex owner of approx 4.78 XM's - i would be very wary
