1 hour left, £1845, no reserve.

Ended there too. Good job I'm late to the party and still got some rum left in the bottle (ie I'm not wankered enough)

I can freely admit I have never, ever seen one of these in my life.

Colt Lancer Turbo EX2000

Most of them ended up in ditches.

The original Evo if you will. 'Starion' engine ...well, sort of.

This must be rare now, a warm impreza, one owner

Classic Impreza values are a one-way street. £5k for a Sport is deluded though. Shave at least £2.5k off the price and maybe.

I was seriously tempted, insurance is only about 1k for an 18 yr old (which is damn good)

It is a long way away, I have committed in my mind to an Audi 80/90 quattro, but also aware that I need a car I can rely on...

You're tempted at £5k?

You'd be the coolest 18 year old out there if you did buy it, to be fair.

Oh no, I was tempted, before I took a closer look and I didn't feel like arguing with a dealer who thinks he's the shit most likely. And it is a long way from me

Well ironically I had the most powerful car in the 6th form car park in the form of a Rover 220GSi twin cam, which I always thought was quite a nice claim, although me being me I kept it quite quiet. Indeed I was always quite careful with powerful cars, @Skizzer was shocked to hear of my restraint when he reviewed the car. I would probably be the coolest 18 year old in my own romanticised mind tho 🤣

Most people of my generation treat their cars as appliances and would just get something new with toys on finance, tho  a large portion of them get sentimental and give them names, odd how that works

The damage looks like it may have happened because someone Keyed it and over time the laqueur has peeled off where the paint was damaged.

@Remspoor Maybe someone's been using the boot as a garage shelf

....for twice the Brightwells price?

Same vendor offered me £1500 for my Morris Minor, which I subsequently sold two weeks later for £2750. No comment. 🙄🤪🤦🏽🔥🔥🔥

Doesn't this belong to someone on here? I recognise the description as being on a for sale thread too.

It's for sale on BX Club.

That's very tempting. Huge step up in material quality inside compared to the first gen. These suffer from serious engine issues though, burn oil like crazy. I wonder if thats why its so cheap...

That is absolutely glorious. I wonder how many gallons to the mile it does. It would make a lovely place to "work from home" plenty of room inside for a desk and chair, just go and park somewhere with a nice view.

I didn't know they had engine issues. I found the 3.6 in my old one a bit underwhelming  and  quality wasn't great. I had to take the binnacle out the dash and there was just huge lump of pig iron in there for some reason I've never worked out. They attract some "interesting" characters.

The comfiest seats ever though.
