So many questions about this one, but what's the betting this has been round the clock at least once?

The font used for the numerals on the dials looks wrong as well - vaguely Simsun, as commonly used by the Chinese. Did Fiat ever use a serif font like this on its '80s cars?

I think it’s even been in a spotted thread on here.

This would indicate that the dials are correct.

MOT expired on 29 August 2007

Yeah, good luck with that! I reckon it was handed in under the scrappage scheme and a breaker/scrapper thought it was too good to crush and wanted to hawk it about for spares.
I'd be very surprised if you could actually get a V5 for it.

Although it does show as SORN. Interesting, because the registration alone has to be worth quite a chunk - I'd be surprised if you couldn't get a grand for it. If it said B16, it would be worth at least double that.

Didn't someone post the other day saying they wanted one of these?

I have always had a thing for them since seeing one on TG getting abused, love that two tone yellow on grey, peak nineties, but it looks to have sold already, and it looks like trouble. Curiously though, it is a 1990 car but was apparently first reg'ed in 1993. Off the road since 2007 so possibly a scrappage scheme survivor?

A Renault 25? Nice.
With a manual box? Very nice.
A V6 you say? Bloody hell.
A TURBO V6? Surely not...

Yeah OK so it's a bit b0rked, but wow!

I'd be more concerned about the Barn having completely rotted away, if I'm honest.

Perhaps he mistyped... instead of "totally rust free" he meant "rust totally free". As in he's not charging extra for corrosion. :D
