Didnt @St.Jude have a hankering for one of these

I do, still do, but one man can have too much of a good thing - like welding upside down!

Plus I don't get on with Northern Ireland. Last time I was there some prick at Gregg's gave me food poisoning.

£300 delivery to Birmingham seems good.   :)

If that was in Sheffield not Strood I'd have risked the "divorce" threats.

This photo pretty much sums up the carnage which is that Mini. What an absolutely steaming pile of excrement.

"at 42 year old it is not perfect"

Amen.

Is that whole car made of overlapping 2”x6” plates? Like a fucking armadillo.

This heap is heroic, it's even an automatic!

Reminiscent of the '70s hippy-mini  fashion.

It just needs an Autoshite sticker and to be taken to mini shows everywhere.

Do not paint, do not restore. (Weld as required, obviously). Wear patchouli and loon-pants whilst driving.

Let's play: Would you rather.

I'll go first.

Would you rather own a mini clubman estate that might need some sympathetic owner to give it love, or a mini saloon, that definately is going to need months of work.

I'd rather buy the silver saloon as it's not been buggered around with. Yes, it's a full resto project, but it's not been customised with a hammer and wob from end to end, unlike the clubman.

The poor clubman deserves a final journey sooner rather than later.

That Fuego is incredible! I'd pay £450 for those genuine 1970s carpet squares tbh

I was thinking the same, the carpet would have to come with it or it's a deal breaker. Just brilliant.

MOT'd and working phase 1 2.0 306 cabriolet with a hardtop and spare engine, £750.  That's a frigging bargain!

May be an image of car and road

May be an image of car and outdoors

Absolute bargain. Yellow too. World needs more yellow cars to brighten up the day.

The MOT history may need investigating, couple of previous dangerous fails, would be interesting to see the quality of how it was tickled with a welder.

It's all the money, but this looks incredible

I don't even hate the wheels as much as I should

Shame it's had the wrong carpet put in, but that's easily solved. This is what my old one should have looked like and I'm getting quite nostalgic

My brother and I, when in our early teens, must have bought 20 or so of these and Norman Nippy's (what a great name!) over the course of 18 months or so.

We used to break them up and advertise the parts in Motorcycle Weekly using their free ads, and sold loads of parts back then. Enough profit to ensure I could smoke Embassy tabs and not No 10 or Sovereign.

So to speak, yes.

Not to forget the odd big bottle of Strongbow for drinking down the garages or park.
