In fairness it is very difficult to forget. Forget that you've just seen some images of Frank Spencer going paint balling and Jim from 'Friday Night Dinner' walking Wilson

Nice tribute though. On a Japanese motorbike.

If this isn't on the A55 next week doing 87mph something has gone wrong.

The interior is such a gopping buffed up piss palace, it's hard to know whether it's worse to be inside it looking our, or having to park up next to it in a lay by overnight.

It'd be absolutely magic is people just left these things as they came and did enough to make it roadworthy in standard form.

I used to drive one of these r series v8s the auto box really seems to dull the performace. Before that I had a 580 4 series scania v8 manual and that thing was alot better at pulling. The r series had a red and white leather interior looked like a sex dungeon...

Not that I know what a sex dungeon looks like

It's still too many.

You know you can buy the front panel ?  My mate has been making and selling camper van bars.

This is absolutely ace, especially for £900/offers.  No engine and needs some welding (don't they all) but what a little cracker.

It's certainly miserable looking enough inside and out to be a genuine MoD mingebag spec.

Could the forum software be set so that quoting omitted the pictures, replacing pictures with their links?

Wow...that CVE Omni looks epic...much want.  Looks a tidy - if utilitarian - conversion too.

Sadly can't drive it on my licence...so am safe.

Don't immediately recognise that power unit, what did they run?

Great idea, works on a  cycle forum so hopefully can be used here, too.

@chaseracer @brownnova can this be done?

I don't know. Let's see all the pictures again though;

Because when people don't think about what they're quoting and quote a post with half a page of photos it causes those accessing the forum on their phones to spontaneously combust. It's pretty scroll-tastic for everyone else too. I vaguely recall the old forum shrank quoted photos to thumbnails, perhaps it's possible to implement that again?

Not sure it is a great idea. It is fine to quote one picture to know which car is being talked about. I appreciate that it is annoying when the same 8 pictures are quoted over and over.

It would be fine, agreed, but too many people just seem not to be arsed deleting the other bits of the quote.

Threads quickly become hard to read and slow to load.

The current system is definitely the best design, right up until the point where people actually use it.

Meanwhile, have a shonky old car for sale.

‘Good runner’ sounds slightly* optimistic, but it looks viable enough.  I foresee a glorious future for its registration number.

Every once in a while I have a search for an early Audi A8. (2.8 front wheel drive only).  And this car pops up from time to time. It is a good colour and has nice wheels for a modern* Audi and would suit as a replacement for the recently departed aluminium Honda of a similar colour.

But it hasn't passed an MOT for more than 6 years and the dealer keeps the price and advert the same year on year.  So definitely not worth a trip to Peterborough.

As nice as the Audi looks, the mot fail sheet fom it's most recent failure in 2014 is quite lengthy and probably not cheap plus other things have probably fkdup/corroded since then. Have you communicated with him at all, has he repaired anything, has he just sat on it for years.

Swap PlayStation 1 and touring car game, kollect 2night or at least a good whack of his dreamworld price.

Do you know how long has he had it?
