Check this out. A 1984 1.6LS with 5-speed box and steel sunroof.

 

It also has only 8k miles since new. (Eight thousand).

Maybe I'll buy this and move house with it instead of hiring a van.  The 300 miles I'll have to spend with it fully loaded will either make or break me.  It does look fantastic though, and is probably a really good truck underneath the moss.

This LPG-converted, towbar-equipped Allegro in the parts section is winking at me.  Sadly not MOT exempt for another 7 months, otherwise I'd be all over it like an all overy thing.  I could technically still go for it, but it'd mean turfing the Renner Six out of the garage over the winter and that's not a road I want to go down.
