Haha, that guy is me. Mine should be back on the road this Sunday, if anyone is seriously considering buying this '94, I will gladly help with advice and knowledge about Mark VIIIs.

I think it could be a decent steer :

Apart from

1) 40mm lowering springs made by Coilsprings Ltd in Sheffield

2) Steel wheels professionally banded to 9" wide by AC Alonze in Nottingham

This SOUNDS good. All repairs and maintenance done by Jaguar specialist Julian Ferraro in Salisbury

This is irrelevant to me either way. Windows professionally tinted by Polimax in Earlsfield London

This is probably true.  But impossible to prove.  Motorway miles. Regular trips to visit family in Wiltshire from London thats all i use it for.

Well it's not been a reliably car.  Had a new fuel pump fitted in November

Always a bonus, if that includes polishing the floor pan and inner wheel arches. Always kept clean and polished (ask my neighbours)

Not perfect condition but its been very very good to me I'm so sad to have to sell it now.

I'll say these are the main reason I wouldn't want it :  Sounds like something weird was going on. Some minor negatives to mention, there are a few interior parts missing. Rear door cards, gear lever suround and panel under glove box plus some carpet and no stereo

I can't help myself, I have arranged a viewing...

Saw this on Gumtree when looking for a bike part (?)and posted it on here, unaware Clayts450 had posted it earlier (with photo).

Does sound good - less than 80,000 with 2,000 mile oil changes and great mot history. Sounds right up your street.

And the owner is very nice to talk to by email, always promising!

Sam, if you get this please can I call dibs when you get bored with it (from our conversation about the one in Bristol it seems we're both keen on one of these)?  The earliest I could get down to see it would be Wednesday anyway, so you having it first is probably the only way I'd get to own it!

Hands up who wants a car that looks like an omelette?

Check out the rims to arches ratio. It's a bit like someone taking the wheels off an ERF lorry and replacing them with fucking Fruit Pastilles.

Yes. And if I can't buy it, I'll let you know how it is....

Relive your fantastic* youth by staying somewhere small, damp, 50 years out of date, moth eaten, incredibly unpopular and embarrassing. But that's enough about Colwyn Bay, here's a caravan

It does sound like a winner. The MoT history was pretty impressive too. Get it bought son - there'd be enough interest on here to sell on quick if you want (including moi)

Edit : Shuffles meekly to back of queue.

Lots of bids already. But slightly submerged in the long description no MoT and non-runner. Rusty?
