Looks decent but I wonder what makes it a 'project' car as both seller's have alluded to.

Fancy way of saying 'no warranty implied or given'?

Those 406 Coupes are determined not to appreciate aren't they.  Completely unloved, for some strange reason.

The newer ones are the same - this V6 pezz went through EA Auctions on Wednesday night for £850 (so around £1K incl fees) - 80,000 miles on it and 12 months MOT

Ok the £710 road tax probably does not help this one?

Gentlemen, I've got a great idea for a business plan! Shite Tours Ltd, trips to shite places with an old coach in various shades of brown and beige. Can we make it to Jaywick or will we perish in a horrible crash without brakes? Can the passengers fix it at the side of the motorway? Will the feral kids return to vandalise it further with their orange paint? Who of the lucky* passengers will find the treasure that's left behind somewhere under one of the seats, a sticky tupperware lunchbox with a partially eaten mouldy sandwich, forgotten in 1996? An exciting tour with an uncertain outcome!

Love an early Setra though. Could find a very early Bova Futura to go with it.

Here's one I professionally* Photoshopped a while back.

Tour of shit heaps classics abandoned around the UK.  Stopping off at the old locations of Little Chef, Safeway and pop into Thurstons Bakery for dinner is what I'm thinking.

now up in the auction catalogue but no real info

looks crispy

I might go and have a look at that as I buy stuff from them, it's just a 10 minute trip through the Tyne Tunnel.

They also have a low mileage Clio...

that looked like it would clean up easily until I spotted the near side arch had been scraped and rust has taken hold.

Estimate is only £150-£250, it does have MoT until November. My guess is it will probably go for £400.

Nice that.  Those Setras go like the clappers and sound nice doing so.  That one's also old enough to be driven on a car licence.  If only I had more time / money / space etc...
