Did that Karmann Ghia leave the factory like that?  Never seen one that looks like it before.  Anyway, Marktplaats, Netherlands:

K series 1.1 single cam no plastic dowels were not a bad lump, the 1.8 dreadful.

I've heard the same, but the 1.1 I had did have HGF!

Yogurt spillage has occurred.. I absolutely love the look of this. Low mileage, long MOT, history for headgasket and cambelt kit. And THAT interior. What more could you ever ask for

Seriously tempting. Especially at that money. There's not many around any more and I'm still sour about having to get rid of my R-reg 414 in nightfire red all those years ago :(

And the money shot. Love the aubergine carpets, those horrific black mats would have to go in the bin and some period correct Rover ones procured though :)

Somebody buy it before I do something silly :)

£300 BIN in Oswestry somewhere. Looks an honest advert and a (potentially) well priced little thing. For those who like exercise and fancy risking driving it back, every single part of Oswestry is 11,247 miles from the nearest railway station at Gobowen.

I think my Dad had his hip replaced in Gobowen.  Closest place to Anglesey.

Is this an old advert or is the other Palladium for sale? @barrett

Yes he's trying to sell it but hasn't had much interest so far, which is strange considering it's clearly the best car ever. I suppose it's also the second-best Palladium. It is getting to the stage where it's almost cheap enough to buy to put the engine, gearbox and interior in my one...

1996 Peugeot 306 Estate 1.9 TD - needs welding and some other stuff - £350 - Swadlincote https://forum.retro-rides.org/thread/222477/1996-peugeot-306-estate-swadlincote

Ideal for a 205 td conversion.

Why people buy a second hand engine for £150 and try and bodge the rest in I'll never understand.

Every engine conversion I've ever done has come from a running car and each one has worked first time pretty much everytime.

See so many unfinished projects for sale as they've tried to penny pinch buying stuff piecemeal.

Direct swaps are of course different.
