I keep looking at this and thinking I should buy it and make the world's only 4 wheel drive Renault 6...

and then donate the leftover chassis and body-shell to @dollywobbler to go with the Dyane he used to have

Anyone fancy a Brand New Proton for a bag?

Bonus background Beardmore too.

Good luck getting a new key cut and programmed for it mind...

Thinking about Mahathir's Perdana again, I have an Uncle in Kuala Lumpur who should be able to help arrange a replacement master key, given that Proton is as common as muck in Malaysia. Just a matter of popping open the bonnet to read the VIN plate and....oh, hang on.....

.....and there may still be some dispute over ownership as well, since Mahathir still apparently owns it, not the eBay seller.....

The 2cv FB collective think this is a scam. I’ve messaged him for more interior,  engine and chassis pics.

I'm also trying to decipher the car park sign in the background of one photo. It doesn't look like any retail park around here.....

Can I post cars from Car and Classic in this thread?  What about if they aren't cheap enough to be shite?  Sorry I'm new ...

Well on the basis it is better to ask for forgiveness than permission ... and it is pretty shite in that it's a brown Datsun ... and is still within the realms of ordinary person affordability ... I want this so badly.  So much glorious BROWN.

Shirley that's MOT exempt now anyway. Even  so,  it's gonna take balls of steel to take that on.

It will be once it's reclassified as "historic" but with something of that size and complexity it's probably better to keep doing the MoT. There's a silver one of these in Chipperfield but I've never seen it run; its owner is a Merc-licker
